Trainwreck's Top 5 First Date Bars

In the words of E.L. James ‘You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince’. If she’s right, you'd better start now (because there are a lot of people in this world).

Naturally, we suggest starting off in London. It’s awash with plenty of handsome men and beautiful women, and there are loads of places to impress. So what are you waiting for? Take the plunge, ask someone out, and head to one of these great first date spots.

Trainwreck, available to buy from December 7th

Boundary Rooftop Bar (The Fancy One)

Positioned among the clouds is Boundary Rooftop Bar, a picture perfect venue with stunning views of The Gherkin and Canary Wharf. You and your lucky date can snuggle up under the venue's warm blankets as you sip on cocktails around their open pit fire. It’s the perfect (and cunning) excuse to get a bit closer to your crush this Christmas.

This place is armed with blankets for the winter months.

Bodo’s Schloss (The Celebrity One)

Bodo’s Schloss is a renowned celebrity hotspot. The gorgeous Henry Cavil has been spotted and pictured here numerous times, alongside the talented Perrie Edwards, and a whole load of other notable names. It has an alpine ski theme with imported Austrian beer and food to complement. You’re guaranteed to have a fabulous time here with your love interest. But…if you find you have zero chemistry with your date, you can always make your excuses and search for Henry at the bar.

Play it cool when you see Henry.

Oriole  (The New One)

Oriole is possibly London’s hottest bar opening of 2015, well we think so anyway. The masterminds behind Nightjar are the creators; so you just know you’ll be receiving top quality service, cocktails and entertainment.  If you want to really impress your date with some whimsical tipples there’s no better place. Prepare to splash the cash though: whoever said love had a price, lied.

Oriole is the new sister bar of the internationally-acclaimed Nightjar

South Pole Saloon (The Cool One)

We don’t care what anyone says, Christmas is the most romantic time of the year! There’s no better place to get into the festive spirit than South Pole Saloon. It’s the ultimate festive pop up where love birds can sip on Chocolate Old Fashioneds and Hot Tennessee Toddy’s. It’s cosy, it’s cool and it’s the perfect place to get merry.

It's high time you got sleighed.

The Little Yellow Door (The Secret One)

What was meant to be a 3 month pop-up has turned into a crazy year of house parties and boisterous events. The brains behind The Little Yellow Door have put their stamp on romantic Notting Hill with their version of a homely living room. It has cosy couches and tasty cocktails to keep you there all night long.

Get in quick though; the Little Yellow Door is closing come January 2015.

Trainwreck is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD from December 7th 2015.
