Supperclub.tube

  • Location: The Pump House Museum, Walthamstow, E17 8AN
  • Price: from £79 per person
  • Best for: friends, couples, and groups
  • Why we recommend: while we're so used to riding tube carriages, squished in like sardines, it's not our preferred way to experience them, and Supperclub.tube remedies that. It's a pretty unique way of dining, and we love the thought and care that goes into each one of the dishes, thanks to head chef Beatriz Maldonado Carreño's touch

Switch up your commute by dining on a train at Supperclub.tube, where you'll enjoy a six-course Colombian-inspired tasting menu inside a beautifully preserved 1967 London Underground carriage. Surrounded by iconic Victoria line interiors and vintage Tube signage, head chef Beatriz Maldonado Carreño serves up dishes like empanadas filled with beef brisket and potatoes, yellow potato mash with huacatay cream, and succulent pork carnitas with tomatillo salsa.

From bright tostadas topped with trout and prawns to indulgent desserts like their passionfruit ice dome and caramelised bananas with coconut ice cream, this supper club offers some really delicious dishes to pair with its unusual surroundings.

Inamo - Restaurants

  • Location: 11-14 Hanover Place, Covent Garden, WC2E 9JP and 134-136 Wardour Street, Soho, W1F 8ZP

  • Why we recommend: it's not every day you get to order via an interactive table, plus we also love the games room at the Soho venue, which comes complete with karaoke, PS4 and Wii consoles, and a retro arcade table

It's hard to find an Asian restaurant in the capital quite like Inamo. Not only do they serve up some delicious pan-Asian dishes with themed cocktails to match, their tables are fully interactive too – meaning you can order from them, watch the chefs cook, change the 'tablecloth', and even play Battleships across their Covent Garden and Soho locations.

Venture down to either and you'll be able to indulge in afternoon teas, bottomless brunches and more, all featuring plates like miso aubergine, crispy salmon skin rolls, char siu pork bao buns and more. What's more, the Soho venue has its very own games room, so you can play some Wii with your mates or sing your heart out at karaoke before or after dinner.

One of the most unique dining experiences in London, The Little Blue Door is the house party we've always dreamed of throwing. From bottomless brunches to lavish dinner parties and not-so-wholesome afternoon teas, it's one of the best party spots in town.

Head here and you'll find interiors not too dissimilar to your dream living room, featuring plush sofas and cool fireplaces, as well as a laid-back kitchen where you can play beer pong, dance to DJs and just pretend you're at your mate's house (who happens to live in the heart of Fulham). And if you can't make it there? There's The Little Scarlett Door in Soho, The Little Violet Door in Carnaby, The Little Yellow Door in Notting Hill, and The Little Orange Door in Clapham.
