Canal

The Good Oak

The Good Oak brings traditional pub charm and fine dining elegance to the heart of Notting Hill. Take your pick of its super chic seating areas to tuck into everything from pizza and small plates of crostini, meatballs and burrata or mega mains likes charred rib-eye, Scottish mussels and pappardelle ragu.

Start adventurous with Balfegó Bluefin tuna lifted with yuzu and chilli, or lean into comfort with the cult-favourite celeriac cacio e pepe, tangled in extra-aged balsamic. Mains balance elegance and richness - stuffed corn-fed chicken with crispy shallots, or a pristine steamed cod paired with girolles and beurre blanc. Dessert brings a flourish of indulgence, from a 75% Peruvian dark chocolate creation to a glossy blackberry and almond praline number.

Gold

A beautiful bohemian restaurant and late-night bar in the heart of Portobello Road, Gold draws its inspiration from Notting Hill's eclectic art scene. Think industrial-luxe interiors courtesy of local designers, and pavement-to-roof artwork from Portuguese artist Vhils. 

The menu is just as jazzy. Head Chef Theo Hill of The River Café serves up seasonal dishes cooked over an open flame, with signature dishes like whole sea bream with wild oregano and capers, burrata with charred pears and parma ham, and wood roasted cauliflower with toasted buckwheat.

Chez Lui
