Have you heard the news? Gazette is serving up a fantastic French feast this New Year's Eve. Whether you book into its restaurants in Putney, Battersea or Clerkenwell, you can expect foodie heaven to see in 2026.

We're talking a 12 snails platter and the best tartare in town prepared before your very eyes. From the terrines to the sauces, everything is prepared and cooked right here by Chef Pascal Even and his team. Bon appétit.

Ring in 2026 with The MAINE Mayfair's signature flair at their glitz-and-glamour extravaganza. The evening kicks off with live jazz, setting the tone for a sophisticated start, before transitioning into an electrifying night of live DJs and dancing.

Guests can enjoy a hearty three-course feast for £250 per person. Highlights of the evening's menu include colossal shrimp cocktails, dry-aged Lake District fillet mignon, poached lobster and a white chocolate cheesecake to sweeten the celebration.

Old Compton Brasserie is a gorgeous, industrial-inspired location boasting warm interiors, orange leather furnishings and tall ceilings. Join the restaurant on the 31st of December for live performances, a drag queen and DJ entertainment to welcome in the new year. 

They've crafted a four-course set menu with sittings from 6pm (£85 per person) and 7.45pm onwards (£125 per person). Prices include a free glass of bubbles on arrival, followed by a variety of hearty British dishes.

One of the best known restaurants in the city, where even the Queen has dined, Quaglino's is a high-end destination in the West End. Expect gorgeous dark red and gold interiors, with a grand stage covered by elegant velvet curtains, with a cocktail menu that's been in the works since 1929.

They're hosting a masquerade ball for New Year's Eve, with the option to enjoy an early dinner or book a main sitting to attend the party too. Prices start from £150 per person, with dishes including chicken liver parfait, wild mushroom and truffle linguine or honey and red wine-glazed ox cheek.

This New Year's Eve, Brasserie Zédel is whisking guests back to the golden age of Paris with an evening steeped in cabaret, vintage glamour and non-stop entertainment. Those dining between 7pm and 9pm will enjoy a lively pre-show before heading to Bar Américain for the after-party.

From 9pm, the restaurant transforms entirely, immersing guests in a world of midnight magic. Expect cabaret performances, burlesque stars, magicians, acrobatics, silhouette artists, sultry jazz and a dazzling Josephine Baker tribute, all hosted by the charismatic Scarlet Mercury. As the clock hits midnight, showgirls burst onto the stage with a high-kicking Can-Can while swing and jazz bands carry the party deep into the night. And when the main event winds down, Bar Américain keeps the Parisian spirit alive with a vinyl DJ set until 3am.

• Why we recommend: this immersive evening is more than juts a dinner, it's an all-night party that makes us feel like we've been taken back in time to the 1920s

1920s-themed The Candlelight Club is a dinner event harking back to the Prohibition era, complete with live music throughout your meal.

There's a four-course set menu up for grabs for £65 each, as well as the chance to add on bottomless drinks from 8 to 11pm for £54 each (you'll also be able to bag access to the main party afterwards for an extra fee). To dine, drink and dance your way into 2026, there's no better place, especially when dessert involves a chocolate and raspberry pot.

If Italian eats are your thing, then Bocconcino has got what you're looking for. This upmarket restaurant has got sites in Soho and Mayfair, both filled with decadent interiors and serving up a four-course feast to see out 2025 in style.

Tuck into bluefin tuna tartare, homemade crab ravioli and tagliatelle with white Alba truffle, before finishing on a pistachio and chocolate clock.

• Why we recommend: this is a warm, cosy setting for a celebratory meal, and their menu won't break the bank either

A warm, welcoming restaurant in Richmond, No 1 Duke Street is offering all-day dining on New Year's Eve. It's got a stunning, fairy-lit courtyard at the entrance, as well as an open fireplace inside, perfect for a cosy meal to kick off your night.

Their reasonably-priced, a la cate menu features everything from roasted portobello mushroom and halloumi burgers to free-range rotisserie chicken and dry-aged rare breed beef, paired with refreshing cocktails.
