Vocalé Mayfair, the performers don't take to the stage - they're already at your table. This place transforms the traditional restaurant into a live, unfolding musical experience.

Ginza St James

TOKii

Japanese fusion at heart, TOKii puts sushi and Robata-grilled meats centre stage. Whether you're settling in for a casual lunch or a special dinner, its perfectly charred skewers of beef, pork, chicken, salmon and veg are sure to leave an impression.

SILVA

Silva, Mayfair's newest culinary gem, opened its doors in November 2024 and has made waves in London's dining scene. Inspired by founder Daria Grebenyuk's travels across Italy and Japan, Silva offers a Mediterranean menu that effortlessly transitions from breakfast and brunch to dinner and cocktails.

The restaurant's interiors, crafted alongside Atelier Wren - renowned for their work at Norma and House of Ming - create a stylish, inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Head Chef Slawomir Sawicki, with a background in Michelin-starred kitchens, brings refined expertise to the kitchen, delivering dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious.

The Stafford London

Slap bang in the middle of St James's and Mayfair, The Stafford London is as elegant as its city surroundings. Expect plush banquettes, hanging candelabras and warm wood panels.

At its heart is Michael Caines at The Stafford, an ultra-elegant Michelin-starred restaurant serving up refined European dishes. Settle in for a leisurely lunch or decadent dinner to take your pick from the likes of venison saddle, red mullet tartlet and braised beef cheek.

Ziggy Green

Just shy of Regent Street, Ziggy Green is one of Mayfair's most sophisticated spots - and that's saying something. In a Grade II listed former cinema, its walls are decorated with pieces of local history as well as modern artworks by Bonnie and Clyde, Grazie and many more.

The menu is just as worthy of your attention. It packs in all sorts, from tomahawk steaks and roasted seafood to chicken parmigiana and miso roasted aubergine. 

Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen

Hell's Kitchen has officially arrived in London, taking up residence inside The Cumberland Hotel. The venue channels the theatrical spirit of Gordon Ramsay's hit TV show, offering an elevated British menu in a cool, contemporary setting.

Among the highlights are wagyu steaks, tuna tartare and the classic beef Wellington. Even better? If you book the chef's table, you'll witness the team craft an exquisite six‑course tasting menu as part of an immersive culinary experience.

The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel

The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel is a stunning, luxury destination that's home to Butlers Restaurant - an intimate space for British dining. It's a great choice for special occasions, complete with a stylish red and white colour scheme and elegant portraits lining the walls. Known for serving some of the finest Dover sole in London, courtesy of Executive Chef Ashley Tinoco, the restaurant is also home to one of the best afternoon teas as well. From homemade sandwiches to fresh pastries and chocolate chip scones, it's one of the sugariest treats in Mayfair.

El Pirata

A great tapas spot in Mayfair for those of you who love Spanish flavours and small plates, El Pirata is all about the food, with a focus on traditional Spanish hospitality and family cooking. This secluded spot has been serving the area for over 30 years, having won the SME award for Best Spanish Tapas in London for 2020-2021. Head here for everything from pan con tomate to marinated cod cheeks and prawn fritters with garlic aioli, cooked up by an experienced team.

Mistress Of Mayfair

For a little elegance on your next meal out, make your way to Mistress of Mayfair on St James' Street. This charming French-Mediterranean venue flaunts gorgeous interiors, filled with plush red velvet furnishings and glittering chandeliers hanging from a mirrored ceiling.

The menu here is just as enticing as the decor, featuring the likes of josper-grilled lamb chops, onion-glazed aubergine and truffle risotto. Plus, they offer group set menus starting from £80 per person.

Manthan

Manthan brings modern Indian cooking to the stylish heart of Mayfair. With Rohit Ghai and Abhi Sangwan in the kitchen, it's quickly earned critical acclaim, with a Michelin star among its many accolades.

Dishes are understated yet packed with regional flavours, from perfectly grilled tikkas to warming curries and signature sides. There's a super sharp cocktail list too, with spice led twists on the classics taking centre stage.

Cipriani London

Owned by the same family as the iconic Harry's Bar in Venice, Cipriani is a beloved Mayfair eatery that promises an authentic Italian menu. This stylish spot oozes timeless charm, decked out in glossy wooden furniture, black-and-white photography and fresh white linen tablecloths.

Their menu switches up often, with both a la carte options and set offerings to choose from. Sample dishes include gorgonzola gnocchi, veal kidney with risotto Milanese and rigatoni Bolognese, with a range of premium wines to wash it all down.

PIRAÑA

Tucked away in the heart of St James, PIRAÑA isn't just a restaurant - it's a plunge into the seductive mysteries of the ocean, masterfully designed by Strongarm Hospitality Group. Step inside, and you're transported to an underwater haven, where bold design meets aquatic elegance.

The culinary experience is just as mesmerizing. Start your journey with the raw menu, featuring delights like seabass ceviche with aji amarillo leche de tigre, sweet potato, and choclo corn; hamachi with yuzu ponzu, jalapeño, and coriander; or crispy rice topped with spicy salmon. Sushi aficionados will revel in the artistry of the sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. 

Isabel

Specialising in Latin and Mediterranean cuisines, Isabel is a stunning restaurant on Albemarle Street that's open until 3am most nights. The striking interiors feature lots of art deco touches, with a beautiful golden ceiling and gorgeous patterns along the walls.

There's plenty to get stuck into on their menu, from steak tartare to homemade pesto gnocchi and lobster linguine. The cocktail list is pretty impressive too - our favourite is the Obsidian Mocha, made with chocolate bitters.

Kai Mayfair

Tucked away on South Audley Street, Kai has long brought sensational Chinese food and an air of quiet luxury to Mayfair. Refined without being stuffy, it serves up familiar classics alongside bold, lesser‑seen dishes that lean into the experimental. 

Think roasted peking duck and sizzling sea bass alongside chilli lobster and soy soaked roast Dorset lamb chops. Whatever you order, you can expect perfect preparation and only the freshest produce - this place held a Michelin star for an impressive 15 years.

Fonda

Inspired by the colours, generosity and regional diversity of Mexican markets and home kitchens, Fonda brings Latin American flair and flavours to the heart of Mayfair. This is the kind of place where the recipes are passed down, the tables are shared, and the food is inseparable from daily life.

Chef Patron Santiago Lastra is in the kitchen, serving up his signature take on Mexican dishes packed with fresh British produce. Get down here to tuck into the likes of seabass ceviche, yellowfin tuna, king prawn cocktail, baja fish tacos and truffle quesadillas.

Pavyllon London

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Pavyllon London offers a taste of Michelin-starred excellence from renowned Chef Yannick Alléno. Within the chic and intimate 30-seater counter, diners are treated to a front-row seat to culinary theatre, where French finesse meets modern artistry.

Just six months after opening, Pavyllon earned its coveted star, thanks to an exceptional menu led by Head Chef Benjamin Ferra Y Castell. Perfect for those who want to experience fine dining in its purest form, Pavyllon London is a must-visit for lovers of world-class cuisine and immersive dining.

Il Gattopardo

Il Gattopardo in Mayfair is a retro-inspired Italian restaurant offering a refined yet relaxed dining experience, with interiors featuring wood-panelled walls, mirrored accents, and rich textures in honey, amber, and azure. Designed by Don & Arles, the space includes a main dining room, a conservatory-style terrazza with retractable roof, and intimate private rooms, all subtly themed around the leopard motif (after which the restaurant is named).

The restaurant is the latest venture from the group behind Amazónico and COYA, serving elevated Italian cuisine with standout dishes like lobster bolognese and truffle pizza. Known for its stylish atmosphere and attention to detail, Il Gattopardo has quickly become a celebrated addition to London's fine dining scene.

Bonheur by Matt Abé

On the former site of Le Gavroche, one of Mayfair's most famous dining rooms, Bonheur by Matt Abé is following up with some serious culinary calibre of its own.

Opening in late September 2025, it has already got two Michelin stars among its many accolades. The first solo outing for Matt Abé after heading the kitchen at the three‑Michelin‑starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, it serves up top tier British produce cooked with classical French techniques.

Wild Honey St James

In a Grade II-listed former banking hall on Pall Mall, Wild Honey St James is all soft lighting, parquet floors and soaring ceilings. The food is just as luxurious yet laidback. 

Expect seasonal British dishes with French flair, from crisp chicken and black truffle macaroni to fallow venison with kumquat marmalade. It's an understatement to say this place demands attention - it bagged a Michelin star every year from 2022 through to 2025.

Shanghai Me London

Sweeping into Mayfair with sultry 1930s-style glamour, Shanghai Me serves up skyline views with its beautifully bold Pan-Asian dishes. The interiors are just as dreamy as the menu. Think lacquered woods, Art Deco flourishes and a little theatrical sparkle.

With chefs Izu Ani and Yukitaka Kitade in the kitchen, you'll tuck into signature plates like yellowtail carpaccio with truffle, spicy bluefin tuna oshizushi finished with gold leaf, and braised beef short rib Shanghai-style. There's plenty more where that came from too - we're talking everything from delicious dim sum to artful sushi.

The Rex Delicatessen

The Rex Delicatessen can be found nestled in the heart of Mayfair, sporting gorgeous interiors thanks to its stable roots. It's retained a number of original features, pairing them with reclaimed wood furniture to create a serene daytime dining environment and cosy evening bistro. At the helm of the kitchen is Sri Lankan-born chef Larry Jayasekara (who opened The Cocochine); using his travels and experience, as well as his partnership with Rowler Estate in Northamptonshire, he creates seasonal British dishes like aged beef tartare or spiced roasted pumpkin sour.

Humo

Right in the heart of Mayfair, Humo's elegant dining room is built entirely around its four‑metre wood-fired grill. The menu's focused around the grill too, with smoky vegetable dishes, sensational seafood and expertly charred meats up for grabs.

With counter seating and an open kitchen, there's a side of drama with every dish. There's even more to love over on the wine list, with some of the world's finest bottles curated by head sommelier Merlin Ramos.

The Mayfair Chippy

All chequerboard floors, white‑panelled walls, cosy booths and nautical décor, The Mayfair Chippy is cool, charming and quintessentially British. Known for its perfectly cooked, sustainably sourced seafood, it's got an AA Rosette and a spot in the Michelin Guide to its name. 

The menu serves up all kinds of certified classics. Think traditional haddock or cod with crispy golden batter to oysters, crab, mussels, pies, tofu "fish" and seasonal specials.

The MAINE Mayfair

Uncover detailed ceilings, velvet booths and ornate chandeliers at The MAINE Mayfair, where you can indulge in gorgeous grub. What's on the menu? Succulent steaks and seafood platters, which you can also take in the pretty winter terrace.
