Description
Tucked away on the elegant Albemarle Street, Isabel’s Mayfair is a dazzling restaurant. From the moment you step through its Beaux-Arts façade - dating back to 1905 - you’re transported into a world where opulence, artistry, and culinary excellence converge.
Inside, Isabel is a visual feast. The interiors are a masterclass in Art Deco glamour: think gold fabric-lined walls, mirrored ceilings, and geometric brass lighting that casts a warm, seductive glow. Rich macassar wood panelling, silk tapestries, and hand-painted De Gournay wallpaper in the restrooms elevate the space. Even the staff uniforms, designed by Colombian fashion icon Johanna Ortiz, echo the venue’s commitment to style.
The menu is a vibrant celebration of Latin and Mediterranean cuisines, crafted with precision and flair. Signature small plates include beetroot-cured salmon with herb purée, and silky beef tartare crowned with a quail’s egg yolk, whereas mains feature the likes of lamb shoulder, veal paillard with sage and lemon, or the decadent paccheri pasta in creamy cheese sauce with bottarga.
As night falls, the energy shifts to The Dragon Room, Isabel’s hidden lounge and club. With resident DJs spinning every Thursday to Saturday from 8.30pm, it’s one of Mayfair’s most exclusive late-night destinations - perfect for those who dine in style and dance into the early hours.
