Other Easter weekend ideas in London?

We've also got a list of Easter brunches in London too, should that be more your kind of thing.

Keep things interesting with some of London's best Easter egg hunts.

Here's also a guide to family-friendly things to do in the city, if you're bringing the kids along.

Italian Dining at Larch with Access to Sky Garden

@ Larch on Various dates from Thursday 9th April 2026

Add some elegance to your Easter with the Larch Set Menu. After a glass of prosecco rose on arrival, you'll tuck into a specially curated two-course Italian meal.

With your stomach full, it's time to head up to the stunning Sky Garden. From this beautiful botanical oasis, you'll get cracking views of the city skyline that pair perfectly with spritzes and signature cocktails.

Sticks'n'Sushi - Kids Masterclass

Looking for something fun to do with your little ones during the Easter holidays? Then head to the Sticks'n'Sushi Easter Kids Masterclass. This is suitable for children between eight and 12 years old.

They'll get the chance to make plenty of tasty Japanese treats, including salmon nigiri, uramaki and hosomaki rolls, under the guidance of their talented chefs. Of course, they'll be throwing in a sushi Easter bunny for this special themed event too. Plus, they'll leave with a goody bag that includes their bandana, a certificate, a Japanese number and phrase sheet and more.

Backyard Comedy Club

Ditch the chocolate eggs and stuffy family gatherings for a night out at Backyard Comedy Club this Easter. The Bethnal Green spot is often fronting lineups of some of the biggest names on the UK circuit, including Jo Brand and Russell Howard.

Map Maison

Looking for some fun things to do on Easter weekend in London 2026? Map Maison is hosting a range of fun events, from cocktail, whisky and Japanese gin masterclasses, to bottomless brunches and tapas-style afternoon teas.

Brew Street Kitchen & Bar

Gather up the little ones for the Bunnies Disco & Easter Trail on the 3rd and 4th April. In the beautiful grounds of Lee Valley White Water Centre, you'll work together to follow clues, hunt eggs and claim chocolatey prizes.

With the trail complete, it's time to boogie on the dancefloor with DJ Alright Charlie. Tickets for either day start from just £11 for kids - well behaved adults go free.

Brigit's Afternoon Tea Ltd

For an Easter experience that's as charming as it is delicious, book your spot on Brigit's Afternoon Tea Ltd's bus. Board a beautifully restored Routemaster bus and glide past London's most famous sights while indulging in a classic afternoon tea - sandwiches, pastries, cakes and plenty of sweet treats, served on cute crockery that feels just right for spring.

It's the kind of family-friendly outing that works beautifully for a sunny Easter weekend, especially if you're looking for something a little different from the usual egg hunts and brunches.

The Big Bakes

Calling all baking enthusiasts and competitive spirits. Big Bakes London offers 90 minutes of pure baking fun in South and East London. Grab a friend and dive into a fast-paced, team-based bake-off where you'll have all the ingredients you need to create a masterpiece (with a little help from the Head Baker, of course).

The timer is ticking, the competition is fierce, and the winning team takes home the glory. With a new theme every month, it's never the same bake-off twice. Come for the fun, stay for the frosting.

Sauna Rave

@ The Sanctuary on Friday 17th April 2026 and 17 other Fridays

Celebrate the long weekend with a steamy rave in the sauna. The Sanctuary is setting the temperature for movement, not meltdown, so you can bust your best moves through sound and steam.

Behind the decks, DJs set the soundtrack while you plunge into ice baths and meander through mist showers. Grab your tickets to this ultimate fire and ice dance for just £24.75.

Dishoom - Restaurants

This Easter, Dishoom is adding a playful touch to family dining with the launch of 'Family Matka', a charming, child-led game of chance running across its cafés and Permit Room sites from the 30th of March to the 17th of April. Available on weekdays before 6pm, families can roll the dice at the end of their meal, with little ones taking centre stage. Land a six, and the entire table (up to 12 guests) dines on the house; if not, children still leave with thoughtful keepsakes like marigold seeds or stickers.

The initiative pairs neatly with Dishoom's family-friendly offering, where younger diners can enjoy milder takes on favourites such as murgh malai and paneer tikka, while adults tuck into the restaurant's signature spread of snacks, curries and grills. For something more celebratory, an Easter-exclusive centrepiece is also on the menu. The limited-edition lamb rack, available from the 28th of March to the 12th of April, is marinated overnight in raw papaya, yoghurt and spices before being roasted to a delicate blush. Finished with pomegranate and a punchy Kashmiri chilli sauce, it's designed for sharing.

The Hip Hop Orchestra Brunch - Shoreditch

@ Blues Kitchen Shoreditch on Every Saturday

Start your Saturday with great music and good vibes at The Hip Hop Orchestra Brunch. Hosted by Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch, these guys are dishing out buffalo chicken wings, popcorn squid, crispy chicken sandwiches, and oak smoked salmon with hashbrowns and eggs, accompanied by 90 minutes of bottomless booze. After your meal, hit the dancefloor where DJs will be playing the biggest hip hop and RnB bangers of all time.

Live Music Brunch

@ Mr Fogg's City Tavern on Every Saturday

Step back in time to Victorian London at Mr Fogg's City Tavern in the heart of Broadgate Circle. Expect energetic performances, upbeat songs and a fantastic live band taking requests all afternoon.

To give you fuel for the dancefloor, tuck into a smashing two-course bottomless brunch with 90 minutes of free-flowing prosecco and punch. Grab your tickets to indulge for just £56.16.

Mr Fogg's Treasure Hunt

@ Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers on Various dates from Saturday 11th April 2026

Are you ready to travel 'Around Soho in 80 Minutes'? On this treasure hunt-style cocktail adventure, you'll follow in the footsteps of Phileas J. Fogg with excitement at every turn.

Start your day at Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers to savour an Aberfeldy or St. Germain Spritz libation before setting off. Then it's on to the streets of London, from Dean to Frith by way of Old Compton, to follow clues and earn your next cocktail creations. Tickets start from just £65.

Smith's Bar & Grill

This Easter Weekend, head to Smith's Bar & Grill for a delicious feast you won't forget. Celebrate Good Friday with a two-course lunch for £26 or three courses for £29, featuring a selection of irresistible dishes, like rib chuck eye steak with chips and garlic butter.

And for those looking to truly indulge, don't miss out on their bottomless roast on Sundays, or their brilliant Saturday bottomless brunches, complete with a live DJ and sax.

Victorian Murder Mystery

@ Mr Fogg's Residence on Saturday 11th April 2026 and 31 other Saturdays

The year is 1873, a guest at an exclusive Mayfair gathering has been fatally poisoned, and suspicion falls upon everyone present. You'll have just one hour to uncover the culprit.

Along the way, you'll interrogate four intriguing suspects under the guidance of Inspector Fix as themed cocktails hint at hidden motives. Grab your tickets to this magnificent Victorian murder mystery for just £64.80.

Alcotraz London: Cell Block Two-One-Two

@ Alcotraz Penitentiary: London on Various dates from Thursday 9th April 2026

For a criminally fun Easter Sunday in London, head over to Alcotraz in Shoreditch for a unique immersive experience. Crooked guards will help you smuggle in liquor past the Warden (so bring your favourite spirit), which your fellow inmate will then shake up into personalised cocktails - with lots of fun and theatre along the way.

Sky Garden

This Easter weekend, London's highest public garden has got plenty going on. Make your way to Sky Garden to discover their wide variety of events, from early morning yoga sessions to vibrant music nights complete with live bands and DJ sets.

You can also dine at their gorgeous restaurants, or have a drink at the bar, all while enjoying amazing views of the city from 35 floors above the ground.

BrewDog Waterloo

Slap-bang between some of London's most legendary landmarks, Brewdog Waterloo is the perfect place for a pint in the city. As well its cracking lineup of beers from the pumps and the fridge, there's plenty more to get you through the door.

We're talking Brit Pop pub quizzes, kids clubs and parties for your pups. That's not all. This place has its own brewery, GRIND coffee shop, Duck Pin bowling alley, gelato stand and slide.

Jolene

It's hard to resist a hot cross bun around Easter, and the neighbourhood cafe and restaurant, Jolene, understands this, which is why they've brought back their beloved buns for the season. They're baked fresh every morning using Wildfarmed flour and are topped with candied citrus peel and raisins, which give them gorgeously zesty, spiced notes.

Pick one up for the ultimate Easter treat and feel good about it too; Jolene's focus on supporting regenerative food systems is evident throughout the bakes, with the flour offering a lovely, complex flavour.

Gelupo Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream Sandwiches

Move over, traditional butter and jam, as Gelupo is reimagining the Easter staple with a decadent, Italian-inspired twist. From the 23rd of March to the 6th of April, the buzzy Soho gelateria will be serving up limited-edition hot cross bun ice cream sandwiches, a clever nod to the classic Sicilian breakfast of brioche con gelato.

The menu is a curated celebration of spring, featuring sophisticated flavours like orange curd, brown butter and honey that lean into the bun's signature candied fruit and warm spices.
