Simmons Fitzrovia

116 user reviews 4

With a reputation for having the best, the weirdest and the most unexpected nightlife spots, Soho offers up yet another treat to night owls. Sitting pretty on an acclaim built from expert mixology and the know-how to create a novel yet relaxed drinking experience, Simmons needs no gimmicks with this much style. This Fitzrovia site enjoys the added extra of a large outdoor area kitted out with heating and coverings.

Wahaca on Wardour Street is hiding a cheeky little secret downstairs. Step into the basement to find Azulito, a Mexican cocktail bar with no less than 80 bottles of 100% agave tequilas to sup straight or as part of a great margarita. The tan-leather recliners and swinging basket chairs make it perfect for a catch-up, or you can come at the weekend to have a little sing and a dance with DJs on until midnight.

Cocktails here are magnificent, with friendly bartenders using premium spirits and delicious spices to put together something pretty special for your tasting pleasure. There's a good choice of beers, wines and spirits too, and of course a lively knees-up for a good old boogie once the sun goes down.

Freedom captures the spirit of Soho better than nearly everywhere in the district. With a fun-time atmosphere and a wonderful cocktail bar packed with delicious drinks options, it pretty much has something for everyone. But when the downstairs opens, prepare for a different kind of entertainment as they play host to cabaret, club nights, salsa evenings and even more mayhem!
