Thirst Bar is an independent and versatile venue in the heart of Soho. The bar is buzzing with easy-going young professionals and tourists, simply out to have fun, drink, chat and dance. With carefully crafted cocktails that beat most bars around, a lively atmosphere, generous opening hours, party DJs and great drinks promotions it’s easy to satisfy your party needs here.

The ground floor bar is light and airy despite the modest size, with big windows and light leathered seating. There’s plenty of pavement to spill on to with a heated seating area, perfect for people watching on Soho’s notorious Greek Street. With screens showing all important sporting events and a drinks selection offering something a bit different on draft, lots of fabulous cocktails and shots it’s an ideal after-work bar as well as a mad Soho gem.

Be sure to take advantage of the Stupid and Mad hours, where the cocktails are 'stupidly' cheap and almost half price or 2 For £10 at times! Expect to hear the DJ mixing up the best tracks into the early hours of the morning in the basement bar. The basement club has its own bar, leather booth seating areas - perfect to book for party groups - vibrant lights and disco balls, creating the perfect backdrop for a fun night out.

I had my 25th Birthday Party here and I had such a fun night (from what I can remember). All my friends were saying that they really liked the venue which is split into 2 parts (a dance floor with a bar downstairs and a bar upstairs) and the music was good especially as we got to do requests. The staff were amazing, really friendly and smilely and made us feel very welcome. I am annoyed that I didn't ask for names so I could thank them in this review. Again, thank you guys do much, and I can't wait to come back. Roweena visited Thirst Bar on 15 Oct 2016

Incredible night, the staff were so friendly and helpful in helping me organise a surprise party for my boyfriend. The bar in general had a great atmosphere and I can't believe I've never been here before. I'll definitely be back here again! Lucy visited Thirst Bar on 15 Oct 2016

Wow! What an amazing bar. I randomly found this bar while trying to find a bar to celebrate my birthday and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. Stunning venue. The manager, Ruben, was absolutely amazing and so welcoming! I'm so glad I booked it, as I had the best night. The bar, staff, drinks and music were all amazing. I can't wait to go back again.

Was my leaving do, and booked seriously last minute... literally almost less than 24 hours before hand. The manager was amazing! Gave us a bottle of free Prosecco. I'd booked the drinking area in the basement, gave us a cosey but live vibe! Will be visiting again soon!!

Great night, great service :) We celebrated 2 birthdays and had a really good time at Thirst bar. The manager was really friendly. Bought the magnum package which is well worth the money.

What an absolutely brilliant night my friends and I had for my 31st Birthday last Saturday night at Thirst Bar. The seating area upstairs was reserved solely for our group and Ruben (the manager) couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if he tried! He provided us with complimentary drinks and was just so lovely and made the night more special. The room downstairs was really fun and the music the DJ was playing was really getting everyone going. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Joe visited Thirst Bar on 30 Jul 2016

I came here for my birthday last Saturday night and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful! They seated us upstairs to begin with, then also reserved us an awesome area downstairs for when we were ready! Drinks fair price for Soho, DJ was good and really friendly too playing our requests. Would definitely recommend!

This is the friendliest bar/club I know of in Soho. They also serve delicious cocktails (I have a soft spot for their margaritas) and the DJ is great at playing a good mix of songs and getting everyone dancing. I booked the 'Red Room' downstairs for 15 friends for my birthday, and pre-ordered a drinks package. It is free to book the space and there is no minimum spend. The entire night went smoothly, the drinks were brought to us when requested, the staff couldn't have been more lovely, and we danced all night to the best old school tunes! Thank you to all the staff who made the night so great, and a special thanks to Ruben who ensured the whole booking went smoothly. zahira visited Thirst Bar on 16 Jul 2016

I've been here lots of times and it's great as you can go at different times to get cheaper drinks e.g. 'stupid hour' 'happy hour' 'normal hour'. good music and a nice atmosphere.

The Thirst boys gave us the best hospitality in Soho. Charming, kind, attentive! Great prices. Beautiful venue, delicious drinks, cool atmosphere. Thanks for everything. Would highly Recommend to everyone looking for a good night out in soho. welshjenna visited Thirst Bar on 24 Jun 2016

We came here for the Eurovision 2016 party. We have a group of 16 of us, in fancy dress which was fun. Unfortunately the coverage was not good and as a result we didn't get to see much of it, Most of the staff were really nice, except one guy who was really rude to 2 of our girls, but apart from that the rest were good. Drinks were pretty cheap and strong - so was a good event overall. craig visited Thirst Bar on 14 May 2016

Very cool bar, amazing cocktails and very nice and friendly staff. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to chill out (upstairs) or party properly (downstairs). I'll definitely go back again to Thirst bar

I came with a couple of friends for a quick drink after work but the friendly managers and bar staff made me stay for the whole evening. Our drinks were made to perfection and were not overly priced for London, the same two drinks in a bar a few doors down were way more expensive ! A lovely bar, with a great atmosphere.

Highly recommended! I had my birthday party there and they made my night! Amazing bar! Great cocktails fast service and smiley staff! Definately gonna come back soon for another party!

Pre-booked a table and some wine here for a birthday. We arrived and had a glass of wine each then left for half an hour to grab some food before a friend joined us. Upon our return we were told that no groups of males were allowed without girls. We explained we had booked a table and some wine for the night and the bouncer allowed two of us in while the others had a cigarette outside. Within 20 seconds we were told that we would not be able to take our table for the night as we were too drunk. I personally wasn't aware of the alcohol content in the pizzas we had just shared but management obviously knew best. Upon my complaint to the bar manager we were told that we would be able to drink 2 of the bottles of wine I had pre-ordered, but only outside on the street. At this stage it became obvious that we were being prejudiced based on the content of our trousers rather than the content of alcohol in our systems. I appreciate it is common to employ such door policies but most establishments would tend to make this known firstly on any public advertisement, secondly during my booking enquiry, and thirdly when I turned up to the bar on the night. Clearly being lied to about the reason for our rejection was disappointing to say the least, especially given the £100 deposit I had been required to make for the drinks and table booking. On further enquiry we were also told by a separate member of door-staff that we as a group "had the potential to be drunk in a number of hours", unlike the rest of the clientel who we could clearly see had already knocked back copious bottles of non-alcohol beverages . The pretentiousness of the door staff especially ruined a pre-planned birthday night for a friend and was the not treatment I would wish on anyone. Really poor service Frazer visited Thirst Bar on 06 May 2016

I reserved an area on a Saturday over Christmas by using the party planners at Design my Night. The team there are excellent, easy to get a drink and not too expensive, music was a mixture of commercial/old school and the manager looked after us. I recommend this to anyone who wants a fun hassle free night! r88m visited Thirst Bar on 19 Dec 2015

Organised my birthday drinks last Friday. Keep in mind this was a Friday and at Christmas, a very busy time for any bar in central London. The manager was very good and was able to reserve me a space for a large group, outstanding service in both booking and whilst we where there. Drinks prices are also very reasonable for the are but they also put together a fantastic package for my birthday. From my experience I would recommend giving it a go! saulp visited Thirst Bar on 18 Dec 2015

I booked an area for my birthday and was not disappointed. The cocktails were reasonable, fantastic music and an exclusive feel without being snooty. The staff were very helpful too. Would def recommend Thirst to others. dj3 visited Thirst Bar on 05 Dec 2015

I made a blind booking for a friend's birthday and got lucky! Excellent service from all staff; who were very welcoming and had reserved us what we thought were the best seats in the house (right by the bar and dance floor - just what we needed). The manager was welcoming to a mixed group and even arranged for a free bottle of Prosecco for the birthday girl. The atmosphere was great (no creepy clientele, which is a plus for the girls) and there were plenty of people there enjoying themselves (it was neither too quiet, nor too busy). Good music and we all had a great (affordable!) night. My friends and I will definitely return, and have already recommended Thirst Bar to others. Kim visited Thirst Bar on 30 Oct 2015

Booked a place online for the eurovision party. The TV did not work! I had to leave and find somewhere else to watch the show! How hard can it be to put on BBC on your screens specially when are charging 8£ per person? Not coming back here...

I love Thirst.. but then I'm biased. Cool space, great drinks and friendly staff. Fantastic basement with more seating and a dance floor for late nights. Private hire space for parties and events up to 100.

Came here the other day for a few drinks and quite enjoyed it. The barman made us a Gin Sour even though it wasn't on the menu and they were really nice. Good little bar.

Good little party place. Not exactly a wow place but good deals, fun crowd normally and can party till late although it is quite small so you gotta be ready for some up close partying!
23 May 2014 by victorialoves

make the most of their stupidly priced stupid hour cocktails - this place is hella cheap if you're ordering during happy hour.

Really fun place, was only planning to go for one drink but ended up staying longer because the vibe was so good!

If you are looking for a late night party in Soho then I'd defs recommend this place - bit cramped though so beware.

i went here for my birthday and booked a table, the seat was more like for 1 person not 2 the table was far to close and i have long legs so wasnt very comftable, we left after 1 drink prices are ridiculous sorry wont be coming here again also it soooo cramped god now were people were dancing
03 Dec 2012 by amie1991

I've been here a couple of times for people birthdays. Easy to get in, as long as your dresses accordingly. We had an area the first time, which was quite a good size for our group, we used it as a base and danced mostly all night.

Agree with creamthrill - once you get in Thirst you won't want to leave! The new refit looks amazing and the drinks are some of the best in Soho.

Came to Thirst with a bunch of mates on Friday night after some excellent recommendations. The night was kicked off with a couple of delicious, and very reasonably priced cocktails. Ended up staying beyond the usual after-work drinks, to spend the whole evening partying in Thirst. Would definitely recommend this bar to all you cocktail and music lovers.
21 May 2012 by creamthrill

Had a really good night at Thirst! It is what it is -- a great fun time bar with good, tasty cocktails at good prices! The boyf was on the beer all night of course! Ha! Went here on a friday night for a few after work drinks but ended up partying until the early morning!! The music is good, fun commercial/club classics in the small club downstairs. A solidly good soho bar!
21 May 2012 by bambiface

Hey this is the owner of Thirst just wanted to respond to some of the reviews and let you all know that the place has just had an amazing re-fit and looks brand spanking new and you can also now have pints for those after work drinks or hopefully sunny summer days. The party bar ethos still remains so we hope you welcome you to the new renovated Thirst for a great party really soon!

Is what it is! Had a fun night here on saturday. Commercial music and fun time crowd! Good for a well-priced party place in soho
27 Nov 2011 by sarahb

It is what it is! A good fun bar! I went here on a saturday and yeh its not the most beautiful of bars but who cares. There was a good crowd of us loving the downstairs club and partying till the morning! Good night had!
20 Oct 2011 by funtimes

Hmmm not my cup of tea really. A busy crowd on the weekend so it had a good buzz but the venue is a bit tired! Could do with a face lift. If you want a busy, cheesy late night in Soho then yeh it works but dont expect too much!
06 Oct 2011 by yukyfishcakes

Never in my life will I understand why Thirst is busy. Possibly because of location, possibly because of the windows, or maybe because it’s quite cheap. But to be perfectly honest that is all it is, busy. The bar itself is ugly, the paint work is horrible, the drinks are on par with Wetherspoons and yet it does really well. As if I couldn’t say much more, the staff aren’t very well trained and are quite unhelpful, the seating is far too small (not that it’s a big venue anyway). But whatever the owners are doing, they’re obviously doing it right.

Really nice place. Cocktails excellent

Went here for the first time last week, and sampled the mojitos - passed the test! Cool bar staff and good tunes too. Was quiet on a tuesday but think would be a fun night out with friends on busier nights.
