Shopping is hard work - hit the shops for a day and you leave starving, so any excuse for a bite to eat is always welcomed. We are on hand to offer some inspiration for the best restaurants near Oxford Circus. Each bringing its own specialities and quirks to the table, these are some of our favourites of the lot.

La Familia

Situated on Poland Street, La Familia is a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant full of Latin American fun. There's a taqueria upstairs for tequila and scrumptious eats, while the cool basement bar promises late-night DJs and low lighting.

Their stylish interiors combine reclaimed textures with modern designs, as well as quirky neon signs and and Espolòn mural running through the bar. Hungry? Tuck into the likes of cactus tacos, Oaxaca cheese quesadillas and pork skin bites.

Amalfi Ristorante

If you're searching for a standout restaurant near Oxford Circus, Amalfi Ristorante is a must-visit. Situated directly opposite the London Palladium and just steps from the station, this Italian gem brings the fresh, sun-soaked flavours of the Amalfi Coast to the centre of London.

With a menu boasting artisan pizzas, pasta, seafood and more - plus a stunning upstairs dining area styled as a botanical garden - Amalfi offers a relaxing escape from the bustle of the West End.

Lokal

Tucked away behind Oxford Street, Lokal is an oasis of calm in the busy city. This Turkish restaurant is run by the team behind Fred Bakery and Faros, bringing you a taste of Anatolian cuisine with a modern twist that you'll only find in London. Inside, you'll find a warm, earthy vibe, with touches of opulence in their long red curtains and plush booths.

Head chefs Salih Serden and Akacan Agir have created a menu that's designed to be shared. From mezze dishes like crispy calamari and smoked aubergine to charcoal-frilled chicken thigh or diced leg of lamb, there's plenty to get stuck into. What's more, their cocktails are both inventive and refreshing.

Faros Oxford Circus

A Great Portland Street gem with a friendly but sophisticated feel to it, Faros brings a taste of the Mediterranean to the West End. From relaxed streetside tables to a buzzing interior packed full of diners, you can expect a warm welcome and a timeless, chic feel to this place - blending rustic charm with a contemporary look.

Their menu is filled with Italian favourites, from seasonal mushroom arancini to quattro formaggi pizzas and slow-cooked pappardelle beef ragu. They've also got an excellent selection of signature cocktails - we recommend the Tiramisu Martini for something extra-indulgent.
