The Lanes

The well-known Scottish band The Skids are heading to Brighton's Concorde 2 venue this June as part of their 40th-anniversary tour across the UK. Having formed back in 1977, performed with artists like The Clash and had a number of top ten tracks in the UK chart, a night spent in their company is definitely something you'll remember for a while to come.

The famous Funk The Format music festival returns to Brighton this summer, promising a bigger and better line-up than ever before. Taking over Hove Park for one day only this June, the day will see live performances from the likes of Goldie & The Heritage Orchestra Ensemble, Alice Russell and Norman Jay MBE.

Rudimental and Disclosure are back with Wildlife Festival this summer, taking over Brighton City Airport and inviting the city's party animals down for the ultimate June celebration. Alongside playing live for the crowds, they've invited some of their closest friends to perform over the space of two days in June. Artists include Giggs, Stormzy, Dizzee Rascal and George Ezra.

Start June off in true style with the Artista Boat Party 2017. Setting off from the Brighton Marina, the boat will journey along the coast for four hours, giving guests plenty of time to soak up some vitamin D and enjoy the great music on offer. Best of all, the Artista team have pulled together a great line-up of DJs, including names like Max Tomie, Szi Andor Gab and headliner Jamie Russell.

Not one to shy away from hosting a hilarious night of comedy, Brighton's Komedia Club is hosting an evening to showcase the talents of Britain's many great comedians. The evening will be hosted by Mock The Week regular Zoe Lyons, and will feature great stand-up routines by Angela Barnes, Laura Lexx and Abigoliah Schamaun. This comedy event in June is certain to leave you beaming from ear to ear.
