Don't be held down by a bog standard bar, try something new and unusual instead. You're only drunk once, or something. Harking back to vintage themes, dosing the crowd on tiki tipples and taking to nature for inspiration, some of the best themed bars in Brighton can be found right here. Primed for a unique night out, or a themed birthday bash, get the low down below.

Dead Wax Social

One of the coolest spots in town, Dead Wax Social is a tribute to Brighton's famed record shop and music industry. It's themed around vinyl music, with a carefully curated playlist and vintage records decorating the walls.

Sip rare pints from local breweries while you groove to the tunes, and be sure to check out their food menu too, featuring all kinds of delicious pizzas.

The Mesmerist

Free bottle of house wine or prosecco when booking a roast for 6 or more guests!

One for the most weird and wonderful of you, The Mesmerist is a homage to all things distant and vintage. Not only boasting a roster of furniture that teams with dated charm, there's a myriad of vintage trinkets and retro events that lay claim on an era of Victorian inspired discovery, all the way through to the 50s.
