The Poets Ale and Smokehouse

A traditional community pub in Hove, The Poets Ale and Smokehouse serves up delicious dishes, worldly wines and well-cared-for ales seven days a week. Get down here during the Six Nations and you get all this, plus every minute of the rugby action.

While you watch your boys cover every blade of grass, you can tuck into small plates of Korean glazed pork belly and soft shell crab tostada, plus wings, burgers and giant BBQ plates.

Mash Tun

You won't miss a minute of the Six Nations at the Mash Tun. Its big screens will be beaming every single scrum, tackle and try.

Rugby at the Mash means ice cold beer, perfectly poured pints of Guinness, stadium atmosphere and a comfy seat. The menu is as exciting as the big match action, packing in signature burgers from the Monstertruck to the Tree Frog.

Ancient Mariner

Light, bright and airy with a central bar, Ancient Mariner's got a great setup for the Six Nations. Pull up a pew with a view and you can watch every minute of the action with a steady flow of perfectly poured pints.

There's plenty to graze on as you cheer the boys to glory. Take your pick of sharing platters and small plates, plus hearty mains like braised beef shortrib, fish pie and pulled pork mac 'n' cheese.

The Pump House

Right in the heart of Brighton, The Pump House is the perfect spot to soak up the Six Nations atmosphere in the city. With every game live on its big screens, you're free to get behind your team, whether that's England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland or Wales.

Bag a seat in the bar to follow every kick with a steady stream of cask ales and, of course, creamy pints of the Black Stuff. If you start to flag, fret not, the menu is packed with platters, pies and burgers to fuel you up.

Signalman

A lovely local next to London Road station, Signalman is all bookshelves, rich wood and old world charm. A top spot for a drink at the best of times, it gets even better when the Six Nations rolls around.

While every minute of every match is beamed on the big screen, you can tuck into mighty fine burgers with your perfectly poured pints. From the Classic to the Smokey, its patties are served up in a brioche bun with fries, slaw and plenty of toppings.

Six Nations roof terrace fanzone!

From February right through 'til March The Mesmerist will be taken over by rugby-mania. They've transformed their terrace into the ultimate fan zone, complete with two 75-inch screens.

The sheltered rooftop promises both views and warmth, and there's also an option to book a space in the main bar instead. On gamedays, they're even offering two hours of bottomless wings and a pint for £20.

The Kemp

A lively community pub in Kemptown, The Kemp serves up delicious British grub, a huge selection of drinks and the perfect game day atmosphere in their cosy space. Come down and score yourself a good time at this chilled boozer.

Blind Busker Hove

If you're on the hunt for bars showing the Six Nations in Brighton, Blind Busker Hove is a great option. Not only are there hearty plates to tuck into, from fish 'n' chips to burgers, but also plenty of TVs across the venue to watch every tackle.

Downs Hotel, Brighton

There's plenty of ways to enjoy the Six Nations at Downs Hotel. If the big match is on a Sunday, you can tuck into a beautifully cooked roast with a perfectly poured Guinness while you take in the action.

Any other time, there's pub grub classics like steak sandwiches and fish and chips to accompany your pints. Whichever match brings you in, little ruggers are always welcome - there's a cracking children's menu and kids eat free Monday to Thursday.

The Royal Sovereign

Located in the heart of Brighton's town centre, this hidden gem of a boozer is the perfect place to curl up by the fire and check in on the latest score. Serving a hearty menu of Thai cuisine, there will be no excuse not to stay at The Royal Soveregin all afternoon and much on scrum-ptious food.
