Lokma

One of the top choices for a Turkish restaurant near London Bridge, Lokma is a vibrant eatery filled with colourful decor like bright blue walls, red booth seating and comfy cushions dotted all over it. Expect DJ sets and belly dancing while you eat, with everything from pan-fried seabream to vegetable moussaka and chicken shish kebabs on the menu, as well as a selection of mezze plates. 

Ruya London

In the heart of Mayfair, Ruya can be found cooking up contemporary cuisine from the Anatolian region, using only the freshest ingredients alongside carefully selected herbs and spices. The interiors here are pretty impressive - think brass-adorned wooden decor, quirky chandeliers and stylish artwork. As for the menu, you can expect sumac cured salmon, dry-aged rib-eye steak and homemade flatbreads.

Megan's - Various Sites

With sites all across the city, including Clapham, Dulwich and Islington, Megan's is known for their gorgeous interiors which often feature indoor trees, hanging plants and fairy lights to create a cosy garden environment for your meal. Not only can you munch on everything from buttermilk fried chicken pittas to halloumi kebabs here, but they also offer a fantastic brunch too.

Be transported to the sunny shores of the Aegean over at Sonya, which offers a menu inspired by Greek and Turkish family-run tavernas. The fancy Turkish restaurant in London is ready to feed you from morning until night, with the breakfast menu featuring kahvalti and organic Turkish coffee. Or, if you join them for dinner, you'll be able to devour wagyu beyti sarma (£24) drizzled in garlic yoghurt, scotch bonnet sauce and burnt butter, as well as octopus elevated with harissa feta and zhug (£26). Just make sure to also check out the extensive selection of Mediterranean wines and summery cocktails, such as the Dirty Za'atar Martini (£13).

Mangal II

Offering up fine dining from their Stoke Newington venue, Mangal II is a local favourite founded by Ali Dirik, a renowned chef from Istanbul. You'll find a blend of both traditional and contemporary dishes here, including roasted squash with tahini, lamb belly shish in chilli sauce and mushroom Manti, paired with authentic Turkish coffee or refreshing cocktails.

Hovarda

Decked out in hanging colourful lampshades, golden drinks cabinets and a striking central bar decorated with intricate artwork, Hovarda is a stunning Turkish restaurant in Central London, found close to Leicester Square. Every room has it's own personality here, so choose which one speaks to you before enjoying a menu of beetroot carpaccio, hand-dived scallops and roast racks of Cornish lamb.

Havet

If you're looking for a Turkish restaurant in South London, you can't go wrong with the laidback spot Havet on Bromley High Street. Take a seat in one of the teal booths at this contemporary restaurant, where you can tuck into everything from spicy chicken shish to lamb Adana or vegetable tagine. As for drinks?
