A welcoming boozer that promises a show almost every single night, The Old Blue Last is one of the best pubs with live music in Shoreditch. This two-storey venue features a main bar and a more intimate performance space, holding events across both.

They champion the best of local, grassroots music, from acoustic sets to buzzing DJs. The bar is fully stocked with pints and spirits, and you can even order Yard Sale Pizza to the pub.

Gigis Hoxton

Situated on the edge of Hoxton Square, Gigi's is a vibrant party bar that hosts live musicians and DJs every weekend. You'll hear everything from Latin beats to reggaeton, RnB, amapiano and afrobeats, with a South American theme to the evening.

The cocktails are bound to be flowing as you boogie the night away, from a mint julep to an espresso martini. Plus, there's a scrumptious menu full of tacos, nachos, quesadillas and sharing platters.

BOXPARK Shoreditch

One of East London's most iconic venues, BOXPARK Shoreditch hosts a regular lineup of live music and DJ sets, as well as music-heavy bottomless brunches. Many of their events are free to attend, in a cool, open-air space that's always got a buzzing atmosphere going on.

There's an elevated terrace that provides views of the local area, as well as several different food and drink vendors on-site. From Black Bear Burger to Greekos Gyros and Potata, there's plenty to choose from.

Nightjar Shoreditch

Created as an antidote to overcrowded bars and clubs, Nightjar is an elegant speakeasy inspired by the 1920s. Think candlelit tables, cocktails in tin cups and sultry, low lighting, as well as live music from 9pm every single night.

Expect to hear jazz and swing bands as you sip cool concoctions, with the occasional late-night set taking place as well. A small cover charge applies for the music, paid directly to the artists.

Queen's Head, Shoreditch
