Fronting two floors, a bustling music line-up and record-store-realness aplenty; Old Street Records is brought to you by independent live music venue and bar group, Rocket Leisure. With two outposts south of the river - Venn Street Records and Northcote Records - both renowned in their own right, and a swanky sister bar in The City - Eastcheap Records - the Shoreditch offering is THE place to party East-side, with great live music, tasty eats, and brilliant cocktails.
Expect vinyl records, vintage NMEs and rock ‘n’ roll murals adorning the walls, perfectly pairing with a live music roster spanning EP launches, new bands and established weekly acts such as the bombastic Hip Hop House Band that play every Thursday. Head downstairs to their basement space for intimate DJ sessions, and all manner of live music goodness hosted from their secret hideaway beneath the streets of Shoreditch. Alongside bespoke cocktails and a varied drinks menu, guests of Old Street Records can also chow down on tasty, authentic Italian pizzas alongside the music.
