Life is busy in London and between working and trying to juggle a social life, dinner doesn't always take priority. Fortunately this is the capital city and there are bags of great late night dining options. From a quick snack before heading home to a post theatre dinner or something to soak up cocktails, these London restaurants all have extended opening hours for late night eating.

For late openings in Covent Garden, try Mabel's, a cosy and cute restaurant and bar. As well as pub classics, there is also a great selection of sharing boards loaded with salamis and cheese. When you're done late-night dining, try one of their cocktails.
It's all about sharing at No.197 Chiswick Fire Station. With the kitchen open until 10pm, order a selection of the restaurant's delicious plates, with everything from mini honey sausages to crispy peppered squid, or if you want something bigger, the main dishes are just as good.

To find later opening hours south of the river, Broadway House Bar and Grill is open until 1am all week. Located in the gorgeous members club, Broadway House in Fulham, the restaurant serves up burgers, fish & chips and steaks - proper comfort food.
