Duke of Wellington

Portobello Road's Duke of Wellington may hold some difficult memories for one particular pop star, but that doesn't mean it's not still one of the best boozers around (and we're sure she'd agree). Known as the setting for Adele's break up that sparked the idea for her Grammy-winning album, it's also a top location for sports screenings, Sunday roasts and crafted cocktails among contemporary yet charming interiors.

The Spaniards Inn

Ever wondered where you'd take Taylor Swift on a first date? We'd suggest following Joe Alwyn's lead by booking a table for two at The Spaniard's Inn. This historic Hampstead pub champions classic British cooking, hosting everything from brunch and steak nights to a Sunday roast. Whether you're taking up a cosy nook inside or making the most of the beer garden weather, you certainly won't go thirsty thanks to their killer selection of cocktails, craft beers and wines.

The Gatehouse

The Gatehouse in Highgate is a beautiful village pub flaunting an inviting beer garden, gastropub dishes with a Spanish twist and a drinks menu of classic cocktails and continental craft beers – apparently all the things Sarah Jessica Parker looks for in a weekend hideaway. SJP has been spending her free time at this boozer in between rehearsals for her new London play... and who can blame her.

The Toucan

An Irish pub that's approved by an actual Irish celeb? We're talking about The Toucan in Soho. Niall Horan has sang the praises of this understated hangout – which tells us that he's a man of simple pleasures. With a plethora of Guinness taps, retro interiors and a buzzing atmosphere, this place knows that you don't need bells and whistles to impress even the biggest global stars.

Swan at the Globe

Located within the iconic Shakespearean theatre, Swan at the Globe regularly plays host to Britain's most beloved actors. Grab a table at the watering hole and enjoy riverside views and a post-show drink while looking out for Stephen Fry, Judi Dench and Jude Law. There's an extensive wine list to choose from, alongside plenty of craft beers, or even an elegant afternoon tea. Looking for something a little more exclusive? Then hire The Snug for up to 30 guests.

Claridge's Bar

The iconic Claridge's Bar has served everyone from Audrey Hepburn to Gwyneth Paltrow over the years, and when you see their gorgeous art deco-inspired interiors and extensive drinks list you'll understand why. They've got a collection of rare, vintage bottles like Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, Bollinger La Grande Anne'e and Salon 1971, as well as a cracking selection of cocktails and tasty bites like oysters or caviar.

The Old Queen's Head

All cocktails are £5 every Wednesday!

Buzzing neighbourhood bar The Old Queen's Head is a hotspot for live music, unruly quizzes, karaoke and incredible burgers – no wonder it's one of Paul Mescal's favourite hangouts. That's right, the Normal People actor has been seen frequenting this pub on many occasions – and if it's good enough for one of Ireland's biggest rising stars, it's good enough for us.

Sexy Fish

Loud, proud and OTT as hell, Sexy Fish continues to grow its star-studded clientelle. The Asian restaurant and bar entices the cool crowd to its Mayfair abode with an eclectic menu of signature cocktails made with salmon-infused gin, yuzu, chocolate bitters and sesame chilli oil.
