Don't forget to save room for their famous signature brownie - it's a must-try.

The Pump House

Having been around since 1766, The Pump House has had plenty of time to perfect its Christmas lunches. You can pair your scrumptious three-course meal (£36.95) with a pint of premium cask ale, or one of their many spirits.

Fancy joining them for Christmas Day? Adults can tuck into four courses for £83, and kids three courses for £32, featuring a range of traditional and alternative Christmas mains - think classic turkey, slow-cooked pork belly, salmon, a nut roast and sirloin steak. The starters and desserts are equally tantalising (hello dark chocolate truffle torte).
