  • Features: terrace, great whisky selection, BBQ-inspired menu, margarita Mondays, and a cigar menu
  • Why we recommend: if you're wondering where the best pub food in London Bridge is, we think we've found a strong contender with this chargrilled smokehouse of a menu

For London Bridge pubs, check out Britannia for their impressive list of whiskies, as well as their cracking menu of food, courtesy of SMOK'D. These guys came from a pop-up from Ribstock champions BBQ Whisky Beer, and they've got a seriously droolworhty menu and this cosy den.

From pulled pork burgers to BBQ brisket and loaded fries, you can expect messy eats, as well as special offers such as margarita Mondays, where you can enjoy three different versions of the tequila-based drink for £7 all  night.

The Old Thameside Inn

  • Location: Pickfords Wharf, Clink Street, SE1 9DG
  • Features: waterside terrace, exposed brickwork, real ales, and premium gins
  • Why we recommend: sporting flagstone floors and wooden beams sprawling across the ceiling, this pub sets a lovely, cosy scene for some beers with your friends

Nestled on the riverside, this pub is great for everything from balmy evenings after work to chowing down on burgers and steaks. Heaps of fun history come with The Old Thameside Inn, as it used to be an old spice warehouse on Pickford's Wharf docks, which dates back to the 16th century.

Drinks-wise, it's all about real ales and botanical spirits, so whether you're a lover of G&Ts or hoppy pints, you'll find it all here. Our favourites include sipping an Aperol spritz on the terrace overlooking the water, or nursing a Beavertown Gamma Ray at the bar.
