Daffodil

Looking to impress your other half? Then take them to daffodil, one of the most unique spots around. This floating restaurant is split across four levels, with a luxury cocktail bar on offer too, found on board the iconic former MV Royal Daffodil.

Chef Darren James-Campbell is cooking up a storm in the kitchen, using produce from across the country to create his modern British dishes. Think seafood creme brulee, truffled honey duck breast or a charcuterie board to share between you.

San Carlo Liverpool

Impress your date with a trip to San Carlo, located on Castle Street. This stunning spot specialises in luxurious Italian cuisine, as well as a selection of premium wines. Expect striking interiors inspired by the Northern Italian coastline, featuring a blend of timber, brass and marble.

Admire the elegant chandeliers and abundance of pretty plants, filled with warm lighting. Kick off your meal with the likes of beef tartare and mixed mushrooms in garlic butter, before delving into indulgent mains such as slow-cooked beef ragu pasta, monkfish tagliatelle or burrata-topped pizza.

NORD

Luxury British restaurant NORD is decked out with plants and a forest-themed colour palette, making for a contemprary yet warm feel. Cosy up to your date while consuming elevated dishes from glazed short rib to Cornish crab toast and a duck egg crème brulée. Wines and cocktails are also on the agenda – including an espresso martini and mango and passionfruit daiquiri.

San Carlo

Award-winning restaurant San Carlo not only boasts beautifully elegant interiors, but a timeless Italian menu that's bound to foodie away. Expect dishes made from the freshest ingredients, from chilli calamari to gnocchi and their selection of homemade bread. Be sure to try something from the wine collection – and a slice of that tiramisu.

Panoramic 34

Nothing says romance like being 34 floors high and that's why Panoramic 34 is one of the best restaurants with a view in Liverpool. Tuck into truffle-infused polenta, or a Cornish coast halibut and pork loin. To finish off, there's a gorgeous cocktail lounge for an after-dinner drink or two.
