Impress your date with a trip to Ego at The Punchbowl, a Sefton gem that promises delicious Mediterranean fare and charming interiors. The rustic venue features comfy seating, wooden furniture and lots of pretty greenery, as well as a spacious outdoor dining area.

There's all sorts to choose from on the menu, including moules marinieres, chargrilled cauliflower steak or king prawn linguine, as well as a selection of sourdough pizzas. Plus, they offer two for £12 cocktails before 6pm, or all day on Sundays.

Manolo

A speakeasy with a Caribbean twist, Manolo is the perfect first date bar. Head inside for a tongue-tantalising range of cocktails, from a bacon 'n' maple old fashioned to a tequila-laced Roots of Agave made with carrot and pineapple foam.

Moonshine Saloon Liverpool: Western Cocktail Experience

@ Moonshine Saloon on Various dates from Friday 5th December 2025

Woo them on a first date with tickets to Moonshine Saloon Liverpool: Western Cocktail Experience, as nothing says romance like getting involved in a covert liquor operation. Led by Clyde Cassidy, an incredibly wanted man, you'll have to stay tight-lipped when the Sheriff begins his questioning, or you'll derail the whole entire plan. Rub shoulders with outlaws, deal cards and enjoy four bespoke cocktails whipped up by world-class mixologists with the spirits you successfully smuggle in.

Alcotraz Liverpool: Cell Block Three-Six

@ Alcotraz Penitentiary: Liverpool on Various dates from Friday 5th December 2025

If there's a way to break the ice, it's a night behind bars at Alcotraz: Cell Block Three-Six. This immersive prison cocktail experience will have you both putting on orange jumpsuits and sneaking in liquor past the guards or warden, where it will then be used to make delicious bespoke pours. For more, check out Alcotraz - The Yard

Black Cat Liverpool

Make a memorable first date at Black Cat Club, where the energy and atmosphere spark instant connection. Whether you're bonding over a game of darts or shuffleboard, enjoying cocktails by the fire pit, or vibing to live DJs, this venue offers a laid-back yet lively setting that's perfect for breaking the ice and sharing some laughs.

Paint & Party UK

Make date night a creative one and book a spot at one of Paint & Party UK's numerous events across the city. Venues like The Abbey Hotel and LEAF on Smithdown play host to workshops where you can get stuck in together. Master your way around dry clay in a sculpt and socialise affair, paint a spring blossom scene on a canvas, or decorate your own wine glass from just £20 each.

The Alchemist Liverpool

For smoking concoctions with a little added pizzazz, venture to The Alchemist on Brunswick Street. Whether you fancy grabbing a quick cocktail from the bar or heading in for a tasty brunch touting booze galore, there's plenty to get stuck into here.

Looking for an indulgent sharing platter? For just £20 per person, their Sunday Feast features the likes of pork belly bites, loaded truffle tater tots and barbecue beans.

Daffodil

Looking to impress somebody? There's nowhere better for that than Daffodil, a floating restaurant on board the former MV Royal Daffodil in the Albert Dock. This elegant spot features a luxury restaurant and cocktail bar, as well as sun decks.

Their refined British menu has been designed by Chef Darren James-Campbell, taking its inspiration from all over the Isles. Dig into the likes of surf and turf, mushroom risotto or a sharing charcuterie board.

Cosy Club Liverpool

Looking to impress your date with cool interiors and unique cocktails? Then head to Cosy Club, a stylish restaurant bar in Liverpool One. Here, you'll find relaxed but sophisticated interiors, featuring dark blue walls and opulent golden chandeliers.

Sip quirky concoctions like the Cherry Bakewell or a Tiramisu Martini, paired with international dishes from their extensive menu. Think Thai green tofu curry, double smash burgers or panko-crusted cod and chips, to name just a few.

Salt House Tapas

Salt House Tapas has firmly established itself as one of Liverpool's best tapas restaurants with a talented team of chefs creating authentic dishes that are perfectly enhanced by the restaurant's fab wine collection. Relax, unwind and enjoy some mouthwatering food while getting to know that special someone.
