The Ivy: Downton Abbey

This September, The Ivy Collection is channelling pure period-drama glamour with the launch of its Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale menu, created to mark the cinematic release of the beloved series' last chapter. Available nationwide from the 3rd of September, the set menu (priced at £27.95 for two courses or £34.95 for three) evokes the elegance of 1930s dining while weaving in The Ivy's signature contemporary flair. Expect refined dishes that feel straight out of the Crawleys' grand dining room, from Severn and Wye smoked salmon and garden-fresh salade du verger, to comforting classics like The Ivy shepherd's pie and delicate grilled lemon sole in beurre noisette.

The theatricality continues through to dessert, with options such as the dramatic Ivy chocolate dome or a flambéed orchard apple tart with Calvados - indulgences worthy of the Abbey's dinner parties. For the ultimate toast to cinematic grandeur, diners can pair their meal with The Ivy Guest Champagne or the gilded peach cobbler, a 1930s-inspired cocktail of sloe gin, Crème de Pêche, honey aperitif, pineapple syrup and Champagne.
