The Botanist Edinburgh is a romantic bar and restaurant located in the New Town, with rustic decor and an enviable selection of drinks. Among plant-filled interiors and pretty lighting, you can enjoy themed cocktails with your partner, or indulge in dishes like Camembert or a surf and turf kebab, all designed to be enjoyed together as part of their sharing menu for £39.95 per person. 

On Sundays, you can devour hearty lunches featuring roast beef, chicken and glazed pork belly, and on weekends, the live house band serenades you to make dining that extra bit more special.

The pretty floral restaurant Black Ivy is found in Bruntsfield, serving up international eats under beautiful chandeliers. Munch on Scottish rump steaks, crispy pork belly, mouthwatering burgers and pasta dishes, alongside refreshing pints and classic cocktails. Their cabinets are stuffed full of gins and interesting wines, and you might even find some live music thanks to its resident DJ come the weekend.
