Nobles by Bellfield

Operated by the Bellfield Brewery, Nobles brings modern taproom vibes to its beautifully preserved historic home. Originally opened in 1896, it's been serving craft brews and local ales to the people of Constitution Street and beyond for over 100 years.

On the pumps, 14 rotating keg lines of Bellfield and guest craft beers keep this long tradition alive. Adding to the proudly Leith theme, there's coffee from local roasters and regular street food pop-ups.

The Lioness of Leith

Voted the Best Bar in Leith in their very first year of trading, The Lioness of Leith is a friendly boozer boating great quality food and drink. The rustic space has transformed a once derelict pub that had a dark history to it, now featuring traditional wooden furnishings and dark brick walls.

Sip local and international pints, paired with gourmet eats from Burger Mama. Using local, seasonal ingredients where possible, these guys are whipping up everything from Scottish beef patties covered in crispy onions and spicy mac'n'cheese to sweet chimichurri halloumi burgers.

Malones Leith

2-4-1 Wings Tuesday-Thursday.

Malones brings Irish hospitality, traditional pub interiors and fine dining to the heart of Leith. Surrounded by vintage bar signs and Guinness murals, it serves up the Black Stuff alongside guest ales and its signature Smugglers gin and vodka.

The food menu is just as impressive. Head chef Ruxi Mirton-Teng, formerly of the Michelin-starred Heron, has put together a mix of pub grab classics, Irish favourites and locally caught seafood. It's little wonder this place is a National Pub & Bar Award winner.

Nauticus

Scottish soul, serving up inventive drinks made exclusively with local spirits. The venue itself is steeped in character, set within a historic old bank and styled with subtle nods to Leith's seafaring roots.

With a team led by some of the city's most respected bartenders (including Iain McPherson from Panda & Sons), it's a go-to for those after a proper drink in a place that knows its craft.
