The Old Nun's Head

No two days for food are the same at The Old Nun's Head with a regularly rotating menu, but it's the Sunday lunch where Fit Roasts shine. Head down from 12-6 for vegan haggis, kids roasts, quarter chickens and buffalo wings on the side, of course.

Earl of Derby

A traditional pub found between New Cross and Peckham, Earl of Derby is a stunning Victorian boozer that's been fully restored to its former glory in tasteful renovations, which still retain a traditional feel of panelled walls, open fires and a striking bar. Think roast chicken, crispy lamb belly, and wild mushroom and artichoke Wellington, all served with buttered greens, treacle and thyme-glazed carrots, roast potatoes and herb-crusted Yorkshire puddings. Food here is prepared by their kitchen, Gengelly's - run by chefs George Genn and Laurence Pengelly, formerly of Good as Gold in Brockley.

Camberwell Arms

Known for their award winning Sunday lunches, The Camberwell Arms without a doubt a crowd favourite when it comes to a roast in Peckham. A chic but classic pub, Sunday will see you dining on half a spit roast chicken, roast pork belly, overnight beef and braised lamb, perfect for the meat eaters among you.
