The endearing Camberwell Arms is located on the Camberwell Church Street, within strolling distance of Denmark Hill station. Step inside this atmospheric gastropub and you'll be greeted by a clean-cut interior, with a smattering of tables lit up courtesy of the large windows that allow natural light to flood in. There's an open kitchen and dining bar, which contributes to the atmosphere still further, and you get the impression that the powers-that-be at the Camberwell Arms are happy to let the high standards of service and cuisine on offer do the talking for them.

Brought to you by the team behind the Anchor & Hope and Canton Arms, the venue offers an ever changing seasonal menu to maintain originality and freshness. Be sure to check out the delightful Hampshire pork chop, purple sprouting broccoli and roasted garlic aioli (£14.60), and the grilled herring, pink fir apples and monk's beard dish (£14), which certainly introduces a variety of interesting tastes and flavours you don't come across every day.

While there is a strong emphasis on dining, there is also a cocktail bar at night which is open until late on weekends and is available for private hire and other events. Guests choose between a strong range of reasonably-priced cocktails, beers, wines and spirits.
