The Montpelier

Set in the leafy back streets of Peckham and just around the corner from Peckham Rye station, The Montpelier is a charming, independent London pub serving craft beers, local ales and seasonal cocktails.

The Montpelier is an ideal spot for midweek drinks, birthday parties or any celebration for that matter and if you're in on a Friday or Saturday night you'll hear the best DJs that SE15 has to offer playing records all night long every week - the best 'Pub Dance' in South East London.

There's plenty of outdoor seating around the pub too, ideal for catching the last of the evening sunshine, and yes we are very much a dog friendly pub (please bring your dog). 

Introducing the Montpelier’s newest resident kitchen – ELM

Elm serves elevated European fare with the volume turned up, like a bistro that wandered too far, picked up a jar of pickles, and came back with new lore. Rooted in classical technique, the menu leans into bold contrasts: sharp acidity, slow smoke and a confident use of spice. It’s casual food with a sense of occasion. Dishes that wear boots to a black-tie party. Tradition is respected, then gently twisted, like a jazz riff on a familiar tune. The result is refined, unpretentious cooking that’s designed to surprise without showing off.
