With luxury interiors like no other, Piazza Italiana are showing Italian restaurants what they're all about. And on the menu? It's an Australian wagyu steak that should hold your interest, best served with a lush peppercorn sauce.
A popular hotspot amongst A-listers, STK is known to serve up some of the best steaks in the city. Both Australian wagyu sirloin and skirt feature on the menu, as well as wagyu beef tartare. And for when you've filled your boots with the marbled meat? There's live music and dancing late into the night.
Situated a stone's throw away from Brixton station, The Courtesan is bringing a slice of Chinese opulence to the heart of South London. Boasting live music and performance on the weekend and a menu of Asian-inspired cocktails, the real star of the show here is the wagyu and ribeye bao - served in a fluffy bun with Japanese mayonnaise and crisp lettuce.
The New York Bar in Victoria is known for it's delicious eats, whether that's a quick bar snack or a pre-theatre meal. And if it's fine dining you're after, check out the Grade A5 Wagyu Steak Sandwich and Caviar experience which includes only the best ingredients.
Make your way over to Stratford's East Village and discover Bamboo Mat, a trendy dining destination with a focus on Nikkei fare. Alongside a fantastic menu of sushi and ceviche, you'll find their fantastic grilled wagyu beef (£42 for 100g), complete with Japanese BBQ sauce and pickled wasabi. The only think you need to do now is choose the perfect cocktail or glass of sake to pair.
Combining traditional Chinese and Japanese dishes with a contemporary approach, Mei Ume is one of London's top spots for Asian cuisine. The wok-fried wagyu beef keeps things simple, served with only oyster sauce, ginger and spring onion - letting the marbled meat do all the talking (and trust us, it's got a lot to say).
A mainstay on W1's swanky restaurant scene, Sexy Fish is just about as bougie as they come. Whilst better-known for their uber-fresh sashimi and nigiri, they also happen to offer a selection of prime beef, imported from all over the world. Served as either sirloin or fillet steak, their wagyu is graded A5 and is perfectly paired with one of the many vintage reds sold by the glass.
On the hunt for a wagyu steak in London? You'll certainly be impressed by The Grill. The Knightsbridge eatery offers three different cuts - striploin, fillet and A5 Kobe fillet - that are beautifully marbled and cooked to perfection. Topping it off? The marvellous selection of sides and drinks.
