If it's bottomless brunch in Paddington that you're after, look no further than Heist Bank. This cool restaurant blends great quality food with entertainment, featuring a pool table, board games, a classic Nintendo 64 and even karaoke in their downstairs game room - with an Instagrammable dining area up top.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 11am, you can secure 90 minutes of free-flowing mimosas for only £20 per person. To soak up the booze? Scrumptious dishes like wild mushrooms on toast, nduja and potato hash and Turkish eggs - or even a pizza if that's what you're into.

Head to Smith's Bar & Grill for a cracking Saturday brunch in Paddington, as each week they offer a mouthwatering bottomless feast between 11am and 4pm. This modern British restaurant promises sophisticated interiors and a lively atmosphere, as well as 90 minutes of all-you-can-eat sharing plates for £35 per person (with the option to add on free-flowing drinks for an extra £15).

Tuck into dishes like avocado tartine, dulce de leche pancakes or mushroom truffle benedict, washed down with wine and cocktails. If you prefer something more chilled, their breakfast menu is served all week long and includes fresh pastries as well as hot meals.

Market Halls Paddington

With so many vendors under one roof, you can't go wrong with a trip to Market Halls. Their Paddington outpost spans a whopping 11,000 square feet, featuring seven street food traders, two bars and a buzzing outdoor terrace - all decorated with Instagram-worthy foliage.

Farm Girl is a particularly good shout when it comes to midday meals, with an Australian-inspired brunch menu to get stuck into. We're talking frozen berry acai bowls, gluten-free apple and pear pancakes, breakfast wraps and so much more.

BrewDog Paddington

  • Why we recommend: this is a top pick for hearty plates in laid-back surrounds, with a classic morning menu that ticks every box for us

Right on the waterfront at the top of Paddington Basin, BrewDog is a cool, casual bar that just so happens to serve a brilliant brunch. They're best known for their craft beer, with 25 different taps on offer, but they've got all kinds of food to choose from too.

Take a seat in their graffiti and neon sign-adorned venue, where you can enjoy fried chicken and waffles, candied banana and chocolate chip pancakes or even a croissant brunch burger- before playing a few games on their retro arcade machines.

Lockhouse

Lockhouse is a laid-back Merchants Square gem, looking out over the Grand Union Canal in Paddington Basin. The colourful interiors blend modern, industrial style with touches of vintage, with lots of greenery and floor-to-ceiling windows that  let in lots of natural light.

Open from 10am, they serve a small but delicious selection of brunch dishes. We're talking eggs royale, classic or veggie fry-ups or even French toast topped with berries and maple syrup.

One of Daisy Green's Paddington locations, Beany Green is a spacious, Australian-inspired cafe along Regent's Canal. The huge windows fill the pretty room with natural light, and their large outdoor terrace provides a view of the water while you partake in some alfresco dining.

They're open from 8am, or 9am on weekends, ideal for early risers. Until 4pm, you can get your hands on everything from shakshouka to blueberry buttermilk pancakes and smoked salmon royale, or nab a two-course bottomless brunch for £49.90 per person.

Hayat

  • Why we recommend: this is ideal for fans of Mediterranean food, and we love the choice of sweet and savoury options they offer

A family-run Mediterranean restaurant that's filled with cosy velvet seating and simple white decor, Hayat is an all-day destination that serves a mean brunch. They've got a passion for home-style cooking, served in a welcoming setting that feels like dining in someone's kitchen.

Their menu rages from shakshuka to an oven-style omelette or berry pancakes, with various sides available like grilled halloumi and Egyptian-style fava beans.

Bondi Green

With roots in Jordan and Palestine, the team at Mihbaj serve authentic Middle Eastern food in a welcoming venue. Expect simple wooden furniture and colourful decor with nods to their heritage, open from 7am right through to the evening every single day.

Ever fancied dining on a boat? Darcie & May Green is a bright, colourful barge on Regent's Canal, boasting two floors of seating, both indoors and out on the roof terrace - making for one of the most unique eating experiences in the city.
