From winter terraces that have cosy blankets and heaters to stunning spots covered in kitsch decorations, there are plenty of places bringing us yuletide cheer. Get set for some serious swooning as we find London’s most Instagrammable Christmas restaurants.

1. Daphne's

  • Why we recommend: we love Daphne's for its festive warmth and hearty Italian dishes. It has a brilliant cocktail collaboration with The Singleton and Tanqueray 10, serving apertivos for £16

Where in London could you find a restaurant that’s jam-packed with decorations? Taking the reins as the restaurant boasting the most beautiful seasonal interiors around, Daphne's goes all out each year.

Expect dazzling ceiling installations across their Christmas theme. When you’re not snapping pictures for your Instagram? There'll be an elegant Italian menu and unique cocktails. Our favourite? The Stella Cometa, with The Singleton, Frangelico, Cream de Cacao, lemon and clarified milk.

2. Sketch

  • Why we recommend: Sketch is a place that provides a luxurious experience; the finest hospitality paired with the most delicious food and stunning interiors, and Christmas is no different. We're obsessed with how it transforms this time of year

Sketch’s art-lined walls and famous toilets make it one unmissable place for an Instagram photo any time of the year. When it comes to Christmas? The artsy West End bar and restaurant has previously constructed a massive spiralling tree and an indoor 'snowstorm in a cup' art piece that rose up to the ceiling.

This year, though, you can expect a nostalgic alpine escape with a modern twist, all put together by an array of artists and florists - themed around 'a painting that never dries'. Look forward to gondolas, chalets, mulled wine and more.

3. 100 Wardour St

  • Why we recommend: we love this lively venue and its festive decorations are so pretty - you'll spot them glimmering in the window as you walk up Wardour Street and won't be able to resist going inside for a cocktail and a bite to eat 

100 Wardour St sits at the former home of the iconic Marquee Club, where artists like David Bowie and The Rolling Stones strutted their stuff, so you can follow your dinner by grabbing reels of live music.

As for the stunning interiors, you'll find an Instagram-worthy backdrop of baubles and berry-laden foliage at their Christmas in Soho installation. What's more, they're offering a festive set menu complete with the likes of beef tartare, pan-roasted spatchcock chicken, soft-baked choc chop cookies, and more.

4. The Montague on the Gardens

  • Why we recommend: it's truly magical how The Montague on the Gardens transforms into a winter lodge - it perfects the alpine spirit and is a great place to host your Christmas party (the venue accepts bookings of ten or more)

Returning for another year, the Ski Lodge at The Montague on the Gardens is London’s original winter party venue that’s just made for sharing on social media.

The Wood Deck will be transformed into a haven of pine trees, falling snow and strings of lanterns, adding to the overall festive charm. Throw in a few glasses of mulled wine and hot chocolate cocktails? You’re all set for the perfect picture.

5. Annabel's

  • Why we recommend: if you're looking for a Christmas façade that'll take your breath away, Annabel's is the one for you. We never cease to be amazed by how opulent and inspiring its displays are - although to head inside, you'll need a membership

This Mayfair restaurant is not one to do things by halves, including Christmas decorations. Every year, the members' club goes bigger and bigger with its festive interiors, from bauble installations over the bar to elegant wreaths lining the dining room. Please note that Annabel's is members only, but you can still see its external decorations without membership.

This year sees a porcelain lion standing proudly beneath a glowing moon, symbols of courage and light, raising money for The Caring Family Foundation. Oozing old school glamour throughout the space, Annabel's is sure to impress again this year, thanks to elegant menus matching the Instagram-worthy surroundings.

6. Mari Vanna

It seems like it’s Christmas every day at this restaurant, but when it gets to December? Expect Mari Vanna to be decked out in even more quirky curiosities.

We’re talking trees, fairy lights and glittering decorations hanging from the ceiling. Topping it off is a menu of winter warmers that's sure to thaw even the coldest of hearts. And on the menu? Plenty of tempting Russian classics, like mushroom chicken Kievs or pozharsky fritters.

7. Dalloway Terrace

  • Why we recommend: you might've seen Dalloway Terrace on social media before, as it boasts a flower wall that was simply made for sharing. Our advice? Book an afternoon tea here, and you won't regret it 

The ever-enchanting Dalloway Terrace has been transformed into one of the most magical winter wonderland restaurants in London over the previous years, so of course, they’ll be bringing back more decorations for Christmas 2025.

Part of The Bloomsbury Hotel, this heated hideaway provides a botanical backdrop for sipping seasonal cocktails, alongside a tempting festive afternoon tea menu.

8. 34 Mayfair

  • Location: 34 Grosvenor Square, South Audley Street, Mayfair, W1K 2HD
  • When: 4th November - 31st December 2025
  • Cuisine: European 
  • Why we recommend: this Great Gatsby theme is calling our name. We love how 34 Mayfair transforms into a New York-style den, and its signature Monkey 47 cocktails are not to be missed either 

34 Mayfair has been on our London Christmas restaurants for Instagram radar since its stint of over 14,000 decorations back in 2020. Since then, it's had a pretty-in-pink theme with an apres-ski twist and a Santa's Grotto makeover.

This year sees a Golden Age theme inspired by The Great Gatsby - think 1920s-style cocktails, elegant golden decor and plenty of festive touches. It doesn't get more merry than this.

9. Balthazar

  • Location: 4-6 Russell Street, Covent Garden, WC2B 5HZ
  • When: November and December 2025
  • Cuisine: French 
  • Why we recommend: the location of Balthazar is stunning - think gorgeous, towering white marble pillars and a kind of red carpet-style entrance. It's proximity to the piaza makes it a great shout for some Christmas shopping after lunch or dinner too 

In the spirit of all things French, Balthazar usually has a twinkling Eiffel Tower in place as well as a Christmas tree over the festive period, adding extra sparkle to the occasion. Get ready for twinkling decorations as far as the eye can see, with smooth jazz transporting you to the streets of Paris at Christmastime.

This year the theme is cabaret, in partnership with Grey Goose. There were limited-edition cocktails available, too, so you could pair your feast with a tipple or two. We can't wait to see what they bring out for 2025.

10. The Little Scarlet Door

Known for its house party vibes and secret entrance marked by (you guessed it) a red door, this stunning Soho spot really does pull out all the stops come the festive period, making it one of the coolest and most beautiful Christmas restaurants in London.

The Little Scarlet Door will not only have a Christmas tree, streamers coming from a glittering chandelier and other touches in the season's traditional colours across the 'Living Room', but also canapes washed down by festive cocktails available for your office bash this year.

11. Harry's Dolce Vita

  • Why we recommend: if you're like us and love an indulgent plate of pasta, followed by tiramisu, of course, then you'll love Harry's Dolce Vita, particularly around Christmas ,as you'll get to enjoy all this and more in a seriously breathtaking setting

Looking for a pretty Christmas restaurant in London? Add a dash of Italian style to your social posting and say buon Natale at Harry's Dolce Vita. Pairing stunning decorations with an equally impressive menu of Christmas goodies, the Knightsbridge restaurant is sure to make jaws drop when you visit them.

Expect swish private dining spaces, authentic festive cooking and (of course) plenty of bubbles to wash everything down. Look forward to tucking into the likes of Nonna’s tiramisu, Panettone or the iconic Harry’s Toadstool.

12. The Ivy Chelsea Garden

  • Why we recommend: The Ivy goes above and beyond with its Christmas themes, and the food is as good as its venues look, too. This year, the collection worked with artist and scenographer Sophie Neil to bring the magical story to life with illustrations on the festive menus

If you’re looking for luxury, there’s nowhere as glitzy as The Ivy Chelsea Garden. One of London’s most Instagram-worthy restaurants for Christmas, this place goes all out with its yuletide decorations, if previous Grinch and Narnia themes are anything to go by.

Expect plenty of winter foliage, touches of glitter and fun seasonal dishes, as well as wintery cocktails as for 2025, it's leaning into The Midnight Express, offering the likes of afternoon teas, Boxing Day brunches, and more.

13. Duck & Waffle

  • Why we recommend: open 24 hours, Duck & Waffle is a sky-high delight serving super moreish, fluffy waffles and then some. It transforms at Christmas time, making the speedy lift up even more exciting than usual

With its sprawling views, iconic location and menu of photo-worthy eats, Duck & Waffle is one for social media all through the year. The City restaurant has been transformed into a festive haven, 

No doubt, there'll be charming sculptures and displays alongside dazzling trees and lights, paired with picturesque panoramas of the entire city.

14. SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden

  • Why we recommend: perched overlooking Covent Garden Piazza, SUSHISAMBA offers a birdseye view of the performers and shops below, as well as a magical festive feel from its meticulously decorated dining room. We can't wait to tuck into some sushi as natural light floods in through the ceiling and baubles glisten 

SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden is our top choice if you're after a totally different feel when it comes to Instagrammable Christmas restaurants in London this 2025.

Combining its usual foliage-packed terrace and vibrant accents with festive installations, it promises to be a total beauty. Plus, the menu of Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian fusion favourites is sure to wow.

SUSHISAMBA in Bishopsgate will also be a sight to behold, decking the restaurant with thousands of glittering, dangling baubles.

15. The Churchill Arms

  • Location: 119 Kensington Church Street, Notting Hill, W8 7LN
  • When: mid-November and December 2025
  • Cuisine: Thai 
  • Why we recommend: this must be one of the most photographed pubs in London at Christmas, and with good reason. It's always decked head to toe in fairy lights, putting the rest of the buildings on the street to festive shame

Boasting memorabilia, vintage carpets and plenty of cool furnishings, The Churchill Arms is a top spot to update the boring 'ol Instagram feed this Christmas. You'll be able to spot this drinking den from a mile off, as it flaunts an epic array of weather-proof yuletide fairy lights and trees.

16. Clos Maggiore

  • Why we recommend: not only does this place serve fantastic French menus throughout Christmas, but their gorgeous decorations really get us in the festive spirit

A charming French restaurant in Covent Garden, Clos Maggiore is a fairytale-like spot that's filled with twinkling lights all year round, also boasting a glass-roofed conservatory. It's at Christmas that this place really comes to life, with cute but classy decorations both inside the venue and around the entrance.

Surrounded by reindeer and baubles, you can dine on their festive set menus from just £34.50 per person, with a choice between two or three courses. Sample dishes include Scottish halibut with Jerusalem artichokes, grilled Isle of Orkney scallops and slow-cooked beef with roasted winter vegetables. 17. Winter Garden Restaurant At The Landmark

  • Why we recommend: dining under soaring palms and twinkling lights in the middle of an eight-storey glass atrium is about as magical as it gets. We think that The Landmark London’s Winter Garden is pure festive elegance

If you’re looking for glamour this year, Winter Garden Restaurant at The Landmark delivers it in spades. Nestled beneath a stunning eight-storey glass roof, this award-winning restaurant transforms into a dazzling oasis over the festive season. With high palms wrapped in lights, live piano music floating through the space and chic seasonal menus, it’s one of the most beautiful Christmas restaurants London has to offer.

The food is just as indulgent as the surroundings. Look forward to short rib of beef, poached loin of hake, traditional roasted turkey and other seasonal British dishes from head chef Brian Hennessy, all best enjoyed with a glass of fizz in hand.

18. Coppa Club Tower Bridge

19. Miracle At Henrietta

  • Why we recommend: we think that no one does festive kitsch like Miracle. This New York-born pop-up is a riot of glitter, tinsel and themed tipples, bringing Stateside Christmas spirit to Covent Garden

Returning for its eighth year is Miracle at Henrietta. The kitsch pop-up has doubled in size for 2025, spreading even more cheer with ceiling-to-floor decorations, trees, fairy lights, and so much tinsel it borders on outrageous. Having already toured across over 90 locations in the US and Asia, Miracle knows how to throw a Christmas party.

And this year? Expect a drinks menu that’s as Instagrammable as the interiors. Cocktails come with names as playful as their serves. We’re talking the Christmapolitan (vodka, cranberry sauce, rosemary), Christmasaurus (pineapple rum, toasted cumin), a Snowball Old Fashioned with gingerbread, and the indulgent Hot Buttered Rum, made with oat milk and nutmeg.

20. The Greenhouses

21. Tattu

  • Why we recommend: this restaurant is a place where Christmas feels cinematic, with shimmering cherry blossoms, dramatic lighting, and indulgent sharing menus

If you’re looking for a Christmas restaurant that delivers pure wow, Tattu is for you. Draped in its signature canopy of illuminated cherry blossoms, the space glows with soft pink light, transforming every corner into a dreamlike festive escape. 

Their seasonal sharing menus are crafted as culinary journeys, balancing traditional Chinese flavours with modern technique. 22. The Lost Estate: The Great Christmas Feast

For Christmas with full theatrical flourish, The Great Christmas Feast at The Lost Estate is an experience. Now in its eighth year and more popular than ever, this spellbinding event invites you to step back to Christmas Eve, 1843, the night Charles Dickens first unveiled the story that would change Christmas forever.

Inside the candlelit rooms of Dickens’ own Victorian London home, snow drifts softly, fires crackle, and musicians serenade you as scenes from A Christmas Carol unfold all around. The night begins in the bustling markets of old London.
