Enjoy The Show - Perception At The W
Hotel bars often get a bad wrap, but not Perception. At the heart of the W Hotel, this socialite-friendly setting is doused in neon and creative spaces, making it a popular haunt for those that know how to put a profile together. All that social aside, they make a mean drink too. Join them this year for 'Enjoy The Show' as they mix popcorn-infused Makers Mark with chocolate bitters and cola foam, topping it all off with garnish of popcorn.
The Fig Cheese - City Of London Distillery
The City Of London Distillery is a homage to London's rich drinks history, opening as the first working distillery in the City for a whopping 200 years. Home to over 200 different types of gin (still a disputed number), C.O.L.D doesn't just take the premise of 'go hard or go home' and inherently roll with it, they've put together a LCW drink that will send a welcome chill down cheese loving spines. Blending gin, fig liquer, and red wine vinger with a cube of Applewood cheddar, 'The Fig Cheese' is a sophisticated offering.
Ch'winkle' Cha'chunker - Genuine Liquorette
You know that London Cocktail Week are taking no prisoners when they're offering cocktails at bars that are barely open yet. Headed to Fitzrovia from an already successful plight in Manhattan, Genuine Liquorette are notorious for one thing and one thing only... cocktails in cans. Their London Cocktail Week bevvie? A smart and sweet blend of elderflower vodka and canned Frizzante.
The Witches Cradle - The Last Tuesday Society
I like my bars like I like my men, strange and endearing; hence why my love affair with The Last Tuesday Society goes on. So what do LCW love so much about LTS? Other than their basement museum filled with the world's oddities and taxidermy in droves? They're big on this cocktail creation. Aptly named 'The Witches Cradle', this is a blend of orange & ginger sherbet, coffee, Mr Black’s Cold Brew Liqueur, and Mole bitters.
Exmouth Market Sour - Coin Laundry
There are plenty of swift and sexy spots for a cocktail during this year's festival, but Coin Laundry is all about the laid back, approachable drinks experience. Churning out their 'Exmouth Market Sour' with Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition, lemon juice and homemade apple and rosemary syrup, sit back and relax in a pared back environment that subtly evokes the feel of a 70s cafe.
Sweet Success - Flight Club Bloomsbury
Indoor smoking and long-slog matches may have defined darts back in the day, but that all changed when Flight Club rolled on through London. Dishing out darts of the future, they've used state of the art technology to give the game a little gusto. But it's not just their Victorian fairground interiors and competitive spirit that have LCW latching on, head on down for their 'Sweet Success' with Ciroc pineapple vodka, coconut rum, pineapple, and grenadine.
Black Geisha - Night Tales
Night Tales know what's up, they always have and they always will; which is why when they snatched up permanent residence in two 1,600 sq ft arches in Hackney, London Cocktail Week knew they'd have to get punters visiting. Hunker down on powder pink seating, shake your wanny fanny to their DJ line up and of course, try the 'Black Geisha', unique blend of Beefeater 24 Gin, Yuzushu Sake and Orgeat with black sesame powder.
Martello Bramble - Martello Hall
I don't want fame and I don't want fortune, but I do want pizza. Get the best of dough and delicious cocktails combined at this year's London Cocktail Week as they've got the ever-sexy Martello Hall on board for concrete interiors, smart toppings and the 'Martello Bramble', a slick putting together of Martello Hall small batch gin, black raspberry liqueur, cherry bitters and maraschino cherry extract.
Espresso Old Fashioned - Boki
Some people think that magnetic poles, the sun and money help the world go round, but let's all be honest with one another, coffee is the curator of our existence. In knowing that, Boki have generated quite the interesting cocktail this London Cocktail Week 2018 as they've put together the 'Espresso Old Fashioned' with Boki Espresso, Makers Mark bourbon, bitters and sugar for a bit o' 'WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE COCKTAIL'.
London Cocktail Week are putting on a hell of a show this year, so don't miss out. Buy a ticket here and get £6 cocktails at some of London's best, including a festival pass that will gain you free entry into the Cocktail Village. LCW takes place between October 1st-7th.
