Located on the Old Street end of Great Eastern Street, Swift Shoreditch is a buzzy all day drinking and dining spot with exceptionally made coffee and the world class cocktails Swift has become known for. The space exudes classic European elegance with a long bar counter to take an espresso and a pastry or comfortable banquette seating to relax for a while longer.
The cocktails are classic Swift; refined, unfussy and with emphasis on balance and flavour. Some Swift classics have made it onto the menu such as the Irish Coffee, Sgroppino and Bloody Mary. These sit alongside the Aperitivo Menu which consists of lighter cocktails designed to be enjoyed early evening - it's available for £6 all day every day until 7pm. Other cocktails include the Burnside; a whisky sour with pistachio and apricot, and the Carmen; a margarita twist with toasted blue corn and a tajin salt rim.
The food menu is a small but considered offering of light topped toasts and decadent waffles. Expect toppings such as candy beetroot, whipped goat's cheese, black olive tapenade and orange zest on the toast, and caramelised pears, hazelnut crumble and coffee chocolate sauce on the waffles. This alongside an all-day offering of St John's pastries and doughnuts and bar snacks make Swift the perfect choice any time of day.
The sister venue to the original Swift Shoreditch, the recipient of a raft of awards including Class UK Bar of the Year 2020, GQ Best UK Bar 2018, TimeOut Best UK Bar 2019 and has been included in the 50 Best bars in the world 2018,19,20. Conceived by industry veterans Mia Johansson and Bobby Hiddleston alongside business partners Edmund Weil and Rosie Stimpson, the Swift brand is known for timeless design, considered atmosphere, delicious drinks and impeccable service.
