Clubs in Dublin

Looking to make the most of your next night out in Dublin? You’ll probably be wanting to track down the city’s best nightclubs, and we just so happen to have a guide dedicated to doing just that. Stocked with wallet-friendly student clubs, vibrant basement spaces and indie hotspots, our list of the best nightclubs in Dublin covers all bases.

Undoubtedly one of the best nightclubs in Ireland, The Wright Venue offers the perfect balance between elegant and positively raucous. This place caters for all tastes, with a breathtaking sound and lighting display on show in the main room, a retro playlist taking hold of The Purple Room and those funky house beats ringing out in Baroque; the rooftop club space which overlooks the city. Add further glitz and glam to your night out by checking out their Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles and Miami-themed VIP suites.

Looking for a playlist packed with Rihanna or One Direction? The Workman's Club can't help you here, but they sure as hell can sort you out if you're looking to dance to all your favourite indie classics. There's plenty of rock, hip-hop, retro guilty pleasures and disco hits thrown into the mix too, just for good measure. One of our favourite places to dance in Dublin, The Workman's Club goes in with DJ sets until 3am, every day of the week.

Asian restaurant by day, riotous hive of DJ-led activity by night, Opium is a versatile hangout boasting its own indoor garden space. Make for the Main Room if your party needs to feature a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, but you'll find us out in the aforementioned garden, where DJs play those feel-good party tunes to an eclectic crowd. One of the most vibrant clubbing experiences in the capital.

If you're the type who likes to party every night of the week, you've got a friend in Four Dame Lane. Home to nights of wild abandon seven days a week, this central Dublin nightclub offers up a mix of live music and DJ sets, and it's always free entry. Dance to the beat of DJ Goldy on Saturday, and come back for the infamous Sunday Socials, which sends you into the new week in style with those sweet party beats from 11pm.

Come to let your hair down at the weekends; you'll find this Temple Bar outpost offering a schedule of live music in the evenings and DJ sets from midnight. The party spirit takes hold of floors one and two, with the upper level VIP suites and rooftop terraces on cue if you need a slight breather from that dance floor mayhem.
