The Workmans Club

Description

Hidden in the shadow of the renowned Temple Bar, The Workmans Club is a charming indie spot that does well for itself by hosting a variety of live gigs, comedy shows, tastings, book readings, indie DJ sets and much more - it's always got something going on!

Boasting a multitude of ever-changing spaces, this venue always keeps things fun and new. The Workmans Club starts with the 'Main Room' - a 300-capacity space which hosts a plethora of live music events. This area has specifically been designed for guests viewing pleasure - sight-lines from every part of the space are spot-on. Then there's the 'Venue Bar' a 'no frills, no frippery' space for a plain old pint (and maybe the odd acoustic session). Upstairs is 'The First Floor Bar', a great space for some craft beer sessions before the live DJs come out to play at night - by that point, shake it on the dance floor as the bartenders shake up the cocktails. Then there's 'The Vintage Room', aptly described as "a posh version of your Nana’s living room" which dons a dansette, radiogram and an old black & white telly! Moving on, there's 'The No. 9 Bar', a self-contained and extremely funky bar, tailor-made for private parties and launches. And fiiiinally (we told you there were a lot of spaces!), there's 'The Rooftop Terrace' - a heated, outdoor space with its own fully-stocked bar and a party atmosphere (and when the weather allows for it, the roof can even peel back for some sunshine sessioning!)

The venue boasts a multitude of booze depending on the room you're in - pints, wines, spirits, cocktails and hot drinks can all be found here!
