Best of both worlds, just got to have it? With Manchester's edible institutions boasting enviable drinks lists to match, it's no wonder that we're such a hubbub of lush grub and liquid enticement. Manchester has some amazing restaurant bars where that double dream can become a reality. So whether you're after a great steak and a beer, Italian fine dining and quality wines, or American classics and a mean punchy cocktail then our list of recommended Manchester restaurant bars will have something that will quite literally satisfy your appetite.

Manchester235

With not one but two great restaurants, Manchester235 has something to suit all tastes. With James Martin serving up a range of seasonal favourites from locally sourced ingredients served in the most delicate ways, Ocean Treasure on the other hand is the Manchester235 way of bringing the far-east to Las Vegas. It serves sizzling platters, fresh seafood and traditional Chinese favourites that are always major crowd pleasers.

Slug And Lettuce - Bars In Manchester

From bottomless brunch to morning munchies and hearty dinners, Slug and Lettuce in SpinningfieldsDidsburyDeansgateAlbert Square, and Piccadilly have got it all. Plus, they offer fun sharing cocktails like pornstar martini trees that are perfect for special occasions.

Wondering what's on the food menu? Think Italian-style chicken burgers, Hawaiian rice bowls or steak and fries, to name just a few dishes. As for the venues themselves, expect pretty pink interiors and a number of sunny outdoor terraces to boot.

Cosy Club Manchester

Located in the Corn Exchange, Cosy Club is a cool venue that's decked out in 1970s glamour. Think plush pink booths and retro, patterned wallpaper, with touches of gold and pretty plants dotted around the room. Open from 9am every day, you can enjoy everything from bottomless brunch to dinner here.

Get stuck into international plates like double smash burgers, king prawn and cod linguine or sticky Asian chicken salad, with dedicated vegan and gluten-free menus available. There's a cracking cocktail list too - our favourite is the Tiramisu Martini.

Banyan Corn Exchange

2-4-1 Cocktails 🍹 and 2 other offers

Taking up residency in the Corn Exchange, Banyan is a superbly stylish and relaxing spot for drinking and dining in Manchester. A trusty venue whether you're looking for a midday coffee and cake, a dinner date or some late-night cocktail merriment, Banyan is the in-demand branch of restaurants that made such a name for themselves across the Pennines.

Mowgli Corn Exchange

Can't choose between restaurant or bar? Mowgli gives you the best of both worlds. Inside the buzzing Corn Exchange, it's all rustic wood finishes, warm lanterns and swinging seats.

There's plenty to love on the menu, from fiery gunpowder chicken and spicy chaats to house specials like Aunty Geeta's prawn curry. When it's time for a cocktail or two, the masala espresso martini and chilli mango margarita are sure to hit the spot.
