Ah, the stress of organising a 25th birthday party. First there's finding a date to suit everybody, then there's working out the best place, and finally you'll have to deal with those those mysterious folk who think it's helpful to click 'Maybe' on the Facebook invite. But we're here to lighten the load. We've been busy doing our homework, and have arrived at this list of the best places to celebrate your 25th birthday in Manchester.

The Whiskey Jar

Offering an extensive menu of whisky cocktails to toast to your special day, The Whiskey Jar is a cool Northern Quarter haunt that's sure to impress with its pretty interiors and cool vibe. To top off your experience, they even host a number of DJ sets, live shows and acoustic performances.

For a more refined birthday (you're 25 now don't you know), sip those wines and guzzle those cocktails in gorgeous surrounds, while the River Irwell trickles by alongside the beer garden. And later, when you're a little less dignified and a little more incoherent, hit the dance floor and throw some shapes with your mates and any strangers you befriend along the way.

The feel-good energy at Revolucion De Cuba is infectious. Brimming with handsome people here for a good time, this Deansgate delight is a place to drink, dine, socialise and enjoy an exotic party vibe. Go hard on the dance floor in the downstairs Havana Club Room or add a sense of exclusivity to your celebrations by enjoying some of the world's finest rum in the table-service Havana Club Bar.

Celebrating your 25th Birthday in Manchester hasn't been easier thanks to Revolution Parsonage Gardens. Not only do they have a wide range of vodka cocktails and shots that'll keep everybody happy, they're open late throughout the week with their resident DJs playing the best in hip hop, RnB dance, indie and party tunes.
