Hidden beneath Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter, Behind Closed Doors is a debauched basement cocktail bar blending speakeasy vibes with retro ''60s–'80s flair. Enter via buzzer, descend a chandelier-lit staircase and discover neon-lit booths, vintage TVs, retro phones to call the bar, and even a shopping-trolley DJ deck. Expect expertly mixed cocktails, a wine and beer selection, Boogie, Soul and upbeat Funk DJS all night long, plus their own private Penthouse Karaoke room, holding up to 18 people and open until 4am. Playful, provocative and delightfully eccentric, it’s one of Manchester’s most unique after-dark hideaways.
