Band on the Wall

Manchester's original live music venue and based in the Northern Quarter, Band On The Wall has been part of the city's history since the 1930's.

The swish spot reopened in March 2022 after a hefty refurb, continuing its global reputation for showcasing live bands and artists from across the world, including Joy Division and Björk. The ambient bar space serves up tasty grub to boot, with a smaller stage to host more intimate gigs.
