There's quirky brunches and bottomless brunches, but undoubtedly, if you want to kick-start your weekend, the boozy brunch is the way to go. Champagne and mimosas have always been classics, but London Whispering Angel brunches have been quietly gaining traction, bringing the cult-favourite, laid-back rose to the table.

Whispering Angel is a pale pink rose from Provence that's perfect for leisurely weekend brunches thanks to its crisp, easy-drinking style - and it pairs perfectly with endless plates of pancakes, and long catch-ups with friends.

Best Whispering Angel Brunches In London

Brunch Brunch Baby at Darwin & Wallace

  • Why I recommend: we've been visiting to Darwin and Wallace venues for years and they're so reliable for brunch. They're almost always located in pretty leafy settings, so if you want a relaxed setting to catch up with friends, it won't let you down
  • Best for: brunch in a pretty setting
  • Price: from £63.72 per person
  • Locations: Chiswick, Canary Wharf, Wimbledon, Clapham and Richmond

If you have a thing for Whispering Angel and restaurants that feel like they're straight from the pages of a glossy magazine, you need to crane your neck to Darwin & Wallace. Each restaurant is unique, but each one dishes out the same bottomless Whispering Angel brunch come the weekend.

There's 12 main courses to pick from (think eggs benedict, steak and eggs, plus dirty breakfast bagels) and a hummus sharing starter is included too.

Wagtail

  • Why I recommend: Wagtail has stunning views of The Shard and it's soaked in sun during the summer months. It's not far from London Bridge either, making it easy to get to if you have friends or family travelling from all over
  • Best for: party atmosphere and views of London
  • Price: brunch from £37 (for two courses) and £34 for extra for free-flowing Whispering Angel
  • Location: 68 King William Street, EC4N 7HR

Bottomless brunch is great but bottomless brunch on a rooftop is better. This summer Wagtail are drawing in a crowd with endless pours of Whispering Angel at their weekend brunch series. Three courses will set you back £42 but you'll be well-fed.

Start with their prawn and caviar cruffin, tuck into friend chicken and waffles with a fried egg, kimchi and maple butter, and for the grand finale, make your way through their French toast with blueberry compote, crème fraîche and fresh berries.

Bubba Oasis Islington

Bubba Disco Pitcher 🪩

  • Why I recommend: Bubba Oasis is a lively spot in Islington that brings in lots of birthdays and celebrations. If you're looking for a vibey day or night out, you're guaranteed a good time with DJs, drink offers and house parties
  • Best for: a lively afternoon drinking bottomless Whispering Angel in North London
  • Price: from £60 per person
  • Location: 57-58 Upper St, N1 0NY

This technically isn't a brunch (shoot us, why don't you), but this offer was too good not to mention. Every Friday Bubba Oasis have 'golden hour' where you can mix and match between endless prosecco, bottled beer, Bubba spritz, Hugo spritz and Whispering Angel rose.

You can also pick a small plate to help soak up the booze. Think calamari, chicken or vegetable gyoza, chicken skewers and halloumi fries.

Aviary

  • Why I recommend: I've been to Aviary about five times now (during both summer and winter). The service is always great and although you'll always see a few cranes in the distance, the views of London are lovely
  • Best for: rooftop views and bottomless brunch
  • Price: brunch from £37 (for two courses) and £34 for extra for free-flowing Whispering Angel
  • Location: 10th Floor, 22 - 25, Finsbury Square, EC2A 1DX

Bottomless Whispering Angel... on a rooftop? Say no more. Aviary has been consistently ranked as one of London's go to rooftops and as if we didn't have more reasons to visit, they launched the brunch of all brunches.

Considering a bottle of Whispering Angel can set you back as much as £26 in the shop, this deal is quite the bargain. And if you're not fancying the usual brunch plates, you can always upgrade to their seafood sharer for two.
