Thought Six by Nico had done it all? Well now the restaurant group is branching into the world of cheese with an all-new West End venture. The Cheese Club comes headed-up by the award-winning cheesemonger Stephen Sweet, who is curating artisan products and home delivery operations at present. While the shop itself launched as a pop-up experience earlier in March, it's currently operating as online only. 

Taking up the former Fopp location on Byres Road, a planned 78-cover restaurant is set to replace the shop later in the year. Featuring its very own rooftop and outdoor space that seats an additional 20 people, the venue's planning applications reveal a spacious sky-high garden that aims to create a mini habitat for local wildlife while showcasing views of the city. As for the menu, we can predict it’ll carry the same ethos of a new six-course testing menu every six weeks with a regularly rotating theme underpinning.
