Find our Goalden Window beermats at a pub near you this summer.
The rush to get a pint during halftime? Honestly. We wouldn't wish that on anyone.
So, we won't.
In a recent World Cup survey that we conducted, over 82% of you said that you'd rather miss a drink than a goal during a match. But we really don't think you have to choose between the two. To help, Access Hospitality and DesignMyNight have analysed all of the goals scored in the World Cup since the 1930s to find out the best time to head to the bar during a game.
Our data revealed that you should head to the bar at the following times to ideally avoid missing a goal:
- 5th to 10th minute.
- 19th to 25th minute.
- 50th to 60th minute.
- 86th to 87th minute.
But, the 75th minute should be avoided at all costs. As this was found to be the most goal-heavy time of any game in the tournament.
To help you further, we've sent thousands of beer mats to bars and pubs and events across the UK, signalling those no-go, and go windows. A handy traffic light system to make sure you're on top of all the goals, but also not missing out on keeping refreshed.
Keep an eye out for them at a venue near you this summer.
