What Is A National Trust Family Day Pass?
The pass grants free entry for up to two adults and three children, or one adult and four children. Depending on where you're visiting, these can cost up to £55.
Do I Need To Have Kids To Use A National Trust Free Family Pass?
No, though it's still limited to a maximum of one or two adults per pass.
How Do I Get A Free National Trust Pass?
Pick up a copy of these newspapers (or any of their Sunday editions) from Saturday 4th July to Sunday 12th July 2026:

- Daily Star
- Daily Express
Grab the voucher from inside and take it to a National Trust property of your choice.
Please note: there are no physical regional newspapers taking part this time around, although if you're a premium online subscriber to regional papers like the Liverpool Echo, then you can grab a pass as part of 'Subscriber Rewards'.
Online passes from other partners are yet to be announced, but news of these usually follows a few days or weeks after the newspaper announcements.

Will I Need To Book In Advance To Use My Pass?
Some locations still require you to book your free ticket in advance, while others operate on a walk-in basis. Please check before travelling and pre-book if required.
To pre-book, select 'Book a visit' on your chosen location's website, then choose 'Affiliate organisation member or passholder' tickets for the amount of people in your group. No bank details will be required and you'll receive a confirmation email once complete.
Please note: you will need to present your newspaper voucher on entry to all participating properties - whether you've pre-booked or not.
Is Parking Free With A National Trust Free Pass?
No, where properties and locations have parking charges, these will still apply - even with a free pass.
