To help you out, we've scoured the city for the best places to watch the World Cup in Edinburgh, with each of them boasting huge screens, ice cold beers and hearty grub.

Doctors

A local classic, Doctors had to be on our list of places to watch the World Cup in Edinburgh. Sip draught lagers, real ales or choose from one of their many whiskies, all while cheering on your chosen team as they go head to head with other countries.

Pilgrim

This charming bar will be screening the World Cup matches on their nine massive screens, plus serving up delicious game day grub, sloshing pints and fun cocktails. A favourite of students and locals, Pilgrim is the place to watch the game and then tip back a few extra rounds afterwards.

The Pear Tree

The Peartree's atmosphere can't be matched when a big football game is on the cards. Their outdoor bar and gigantic LED screen make it feel like you're right there in the centre of the action. But if you want to cosy up inside, there are plenty of TVs in there too.
