El Capo

A bolt hole of Mexican dreams on Tariff Street, El Capo is all sorts of sexy, from the burgers down to the sweetcorn fritters. And it's not just the food that will have you head over heels, the downstairs is a Day of the Dead style hangout, while red neon signs will light the way up for dancing the night away.

Sandinista

The Spanish and Mexican theme runs deep in Sandinista. They boast a huge selection of cocktails including a variety of tequilas to sink you under the bar and onto the floor. Candlelit by night, its subtle and cultured decor makes it a cosy and comfortable venue for a first date.

With Manchester's largest mezcal and tequila selection, Crazy Pedro are the go-to when it comes to shenanigans in the city. The wacky bar might not be very authentic but it's all sorts of fun, from the frozen margaritas through to the pizza nachos - that's chopped up pizza on top of nachos to you and me.
