Hotel Café Royal is about to get a whole lot swankier, as celebrated chef Albert Adrià opens a new eatery within the Soho hotel. Following a successful pop-up at the hotel a few years ago, the Spanish chef will be back for good this November. Cakes and Bubbles will centre on desserts and fizz, with sweet treats created by the award-winning pastry chef. Having clocked in the highest ranking on the World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2015, it's safe to say that we can expect an amazing assortment of desserts on the menu. We love the sound of chocolate ninoyoyaki cake balls, air waffles with caramelised bananas and the famous cheesecake that features on the menu of Adrià's much-loved Barcelona restaurant Tickets. You can also expect handmade chocolates, doughnuts and artisan ice cream alongside specially selected Champagne and sparkling wine.
