Now Open

Taking pride of place in Bermondsey, Trivet is an all-new dining concept from Jonny Lake, of the Heston Group and the Fat Duck, and sommelier Isa Bal, another Fat Duck alumni. The new informal, high-quality restaurant will utilise fresh ingredients and handpicked wines to deliver a unique international dining experience.

Named after an age-old cooking utensil, Trivet takes inspiration from the founders’ travels across the Continent, juxtaposing Nordic functionality with the warmth of the Mediterranean. Eye-catching dishes include the chicken with a vinegar sauce, trompette mushroom, mashed potatoes and glazed turnips, squab pigeon, persimmon and kale, and the sweet Hokkaido potato with sake and white chocolate mousse, butter and sake gelato.

Of course, the drink will be an essential component of tasting adventures. The extensive collection spans 300 bottles from France, Italy, Armenia, Turkey and Georgia. These will all be housed in a separate wine bar that’ll serve small plates and comfortably house 25 guests, while the main restaurant will seat 75.
