Perky by name, perky by nature - the Perky Nel is an all-new classic boozer opening in Clapham South. Promising an old-school feel with modern values, the new venture by the Livelyhood Pub Group aims to bring guests the best bits a neighbourhood pub can offer.
Setting up in the former Gigalum site, the Perky Nel will be a part of the same group that manages The Regent, The Clapham North and The Old Frizzle to name a few, offering a rather different feel to its DJ bar predecessor. The large bar and dining space will serve traditional British pub grub from local suppliers and producers, think full English breakfasts and boozy brunches, stacked sandwiches and Sunday roasts. A cocktail club currently runs across the Livelyhood Pub Group so regular happy hours and live music can also be expected from the new venture.
Meanwhile, the dedicated sports area features giant screens, so visitors can catch all the latest games. To top it off, the pub’s large outdoor terrace boasts views of Clapham Common and is sure to become one of the area’s liveliest drinking spots once the summer rolls around.
