You've crossed the finish line of the 2026 TCS London Marathon on 26th April and, honestly, the city wants to celebrate with you. Adding to our guide on great places to visit along the London Marathon route, there's also restaurants, bars, bakeries, and brands across London are handing out freebies all weekend to anyone who shows their finisher's medal. We're talking free steaks, Sunday roasts, pizzas, pints, Champagne, smoothies, matcha, shower products, massages, Thames cruises, and a lot more in DesignMyNight's guide to London Marathon Freebies 2026.

London Marathon 2026 Freebies: Everything You Can Claim

1. Free pints and drinks

London is very generously buying you a round. Here's every venue confirmed to be giving out free drinks to marathon finishers on 26th April:

Take yourself straight from your marathon (left) to London Bridge Rooftop to claim your free bottle of Champagne (right).

2. Free Sunday roasts

Kitty Hawk Rooftop & Restaurant

  • Location: 8 St Martin's Place, WC2N 4JH

One of the most generous offers going this year. Show your medal at Kitty Hawk's rooftop restaurant near Trafalgar Square and you'll get a complimentary Sunday roast - normally priced at £32. Just a short hobble from the finish line.

LAVO at the BoTree

  • Location: 30 Marylebone Lane, W1U 2DR

An Italian spin on the traditional roast. Medal-holders get a complimentary spread including roasted beef striploin, corn-fed chicken, porchetta, roast potatoes, seasonal veg, and panini semidolci, served alongside Italian classics. Advance booking required.

3. Free travel on race day

The simplest freebie of the lot. All London Marathon runners get free travel on:

  • Underground
  • Overground
  • DLR
  • TFL buses on race day.

Just show your race bib to station staff - no need to tap in or out. Free travel is for runners only, not spectators or supporters.

4. Free steak

Gaucho

  • Location: all 11 London restaurants

This one's worth planning ahead for. Gaucho is giving every marathon finisher a free steak - choose from sirloin, ribeye, rump, or fillet - at any of their 11 London locations. The only catch: you need to dine with at least one other person who orders a main. Valid from race day (26th April) through to 29th April, so you've got a few days to recover before you go.

5. Free pizza

Franco Manca

  • Location: London branches excluding Westfield Stratford

Flash your medal at any participating Franco Manca and you'll get any pizza from the main menu or specials board for free (normally £7.95-£14.25). Available race day and the following day (26th-27th April). Extra toppings are charged separately, and this can't be used with the Franco Manca loyalty scheme.

6. Free burritos and Mexican food

Chipotle

  • Location: all 18 London restaurants

Chipotle is running their "Real Food for Real Athletes" offer again this year - a completely free main meal (burrito, tacos, salad, or bowl - up to £13 value) for every 2026 London Marathon finisher. Available at all 18 London locations on race day and the day after (26th-27th April), with no minimum spend.

7. Free pasta

Pasta Evangelists

  • Location: 6 London restaurants, including Richmond, Farringdon and Greenwich

Pick up a free bowl of pasta on race day by showing your finishing medal or race bib at one of their London locations. Carb-loading, post-race edition.

Emilia's Crafted Pasta

  • Location: 5 London restaurants, including St Katherine's Docks, Baker Street and Aldgate

Located right near the finish line area, Emilia's will be handing out medal-shaped tokens on race day that can be redeemed for a free bowl of pasta at any point up until June 30. So you've got time to use this one.

8. Free kebabs

Le Bab Covent Garden 

  • Location: 4 Mercer Walk, Covent Garden WC2H 9FA

The gourmet kebab spot is treating runners to a free meal on race day. Show your medal and tuck in.

9. Free salad bowls

atis

  • Location: Covent Garden and Regent Street

For a more virtuous post-race refuel, atis is offering a free bowl to any marathon finisher - including the limited-edition atis x Runna Marathon Edit (sweet potato, black beans, wholegrain rice, cashew satay). Available on race day and 27th April. Show your medal at any London atis location (extras charged separately).

10. Free Indian street food

Cinnamon Bazaar/Kitchen

  • Location: Covent Garden and Battersea

Show your medal at either of Vivek Singh's London restaurants and get complimentary chaat - traditional Indian street food with sweet, tangy, and spiced flavours. Race day only.

11. Free sushi

SushiDog

  • Location: all London except Westfield White City and Bank sites

Medal-holders get a completely free SushiDog, bowl, or salad and a Cano Water at any London SushiDog. Excludes Westfield White City, and Bank sites.

12. Free cheesecake

La Maritxu

  • Location: 10 Kingly Street, Carnaby W1B 5PJ

The Basque cheesecake specialists are giving away 100 free slices of their Classic Basque Cheesecake to the first 100 marathon runners to show their medal. First come, first served - move quickly.

13. Free burgers

HBR

  • Location: 14 Eccleston Street, SW1W 9LT

The first 100 marathon finishers to visit HBR get a free burger - including fan favourites like The OG and Classy Chick. After 100, you're on your own.

14. Free cookies

Floozie Cookies

  • Location: 15 The Market Building, Lower Ground, Covent Garden WC2E 8RE 

Half an hour from the finish line, Floozie is giving away one of their famed chewy cookies with wild toppings plus a matching drink to anyone showing their medal. A very decent reward.

Cafe Mama and Sons

  • Location: 83 Kentish Town Road, Kentish Town NW1 8NY

Show your medal at this Kentish Town favourite for a free Miso Milk Chocolate Cookie.

15. Free matcha

Jenki

  • Location: 50a Long Acre, Covent Garden WC2E 9JR

Head to Jenki in Covent Garden after the race and flash your medal for a free matcha.

16. Free recovery smoothie

Lanes of London

  • Location: 140 Park Lane, W1K 7AA 

The Recovery Boost Smoothie at Lanes of London mixes banana, antioxidant-rich berries, coconut water, orange juice, and Greek yoghurt with honey. Free for any medal-holder and exactly what your body needs at mile 26.3.

17. Free shower products

Lush

  • Location: Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Victoria and Paddington

Lush is giving marathon runners two free products: the brand new Marathon-exclusive Ouchy magnesium massage balm and The Good Hour shower jelly. Available on April 26 during opening hours at all four participating stores while stocks last. One of each maximum per person.

18. Free massage and recovery

ELEMIS

  • Location: 23 Monmouth Street, Covent Garden WC2H 9DD

Sore arms? (Apparently it happens.) ELEMIS Covent Garden is offering marathon runners a complimentary hand and arm massage plus product samples to take away. Head in on race day.

Grown Alchemist x TALA

  • Location: 35 Beak Street, Carnaby W1F 9SX

Activewear brand TALA has partnered with Grown Alchemist at their Carnaby Street location to offer complimentary calf massages on marathon day. Perfect if your legs have completely given up.

19. Free coffee

Kiss The Hippo x TALA

  • Location:  35 Beak Street, Carnaby W1F 9SX

Also in the TALA Carnaby activation - Kiss The Hippo is providing post-run coffee refuelling while stocks last. Show your medal or registration.

Fred Bakery

  • Location: Holborn and Oxford Circus

One of the better extended offers this year - Fred Bakery is treating runners to a free iced coffee and a free bakery item. Available from 26th April right through to 1st May, so there's no rush to limp in on marathon day itself.

20. Free Thames cruise

City Cruises

  • Location: Westminster, Tower Millennium and London Eye Waterloo piers

Show your medal or runner registration at City Cruises for a free Thames sightseeing cruise on 26th-27th April. Supporters also get 30% off with the code MARATHON30.

21. Free fitness classes

Peloton Studios London

  • Location11 Floral Street, Covent Garden WC2E 9DH

Peloton are running free immersive fitness and recovery-focused classes on Sundays at their London studios. Show your medal to take part. Good luck to your legs.

How Can I Claim London Marathon Freebies

Every single offer on this list requires your 2026 TCS London Marathon finisher's medal (or in some cases your race bib for travel). Keep it round your neck all day - it's your passport to essentially a free weekend in London.

When Are London Marathon Freebies Running?

Most food and drink offers are race day only (26th April), but several are extended:

  • Gaucho steak - until 29th April
