Chef Tommy Heaney of Great British Menu and Heaney’s has further grown his empire with the creation of Uisce: an accompanying cafe and wine bar to the chef’s first restaurant. Located right next to the eatery, Uisce (pronounced ish-ka) is open from early morning, serving breakfast and lunch, before transitioning to wine with charcuterie by night.

Breakfast will really take centre stage here, with Tommy’s homemade sausages, fresh black pudding and Heaney’s famous sourdough taking centre-stage. Meanwhile, lunch will see homemade stews and sandwiches up for grabs, and fresh bagels or crumpets stuffed with cured, cooked and smoked meats.

As night falls, guests can graze on light bites such as charcuterie, cheese and a selection of world wines. An expertly-curated selection of gin will also be available alongside Tommy's house craft beer on tap, and plenty more behind the bar. There are even plans for regular wine tasting sessions and events with guest makers, featuring live music and local artists, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
